GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0 bios switches ?

hi
im up and running with my  970 ftw 04g-p4-2978-kr all is well .
i have read it has triple bios and i have read its duel ?
it has 2 small switches on back of card but no where
can i find what they do.
not in Manuel and not on Google .
can a evga rep enplane if it has 2 are 3 bios and what the switches do
is one a wright protect ect ?

    What's the switch combination for the third BIOS? Leave switch one at default and push switch 2 up?

    1 = Changes the BIOS.
    2 = Enables / Disables BIOS write protection.

    I see, thanks for the clarification, Sajin. I guess the triple BIOS advertisement was another shot in the foot then.

    If you select the secondary BIOS and somehow it gets corrupted then switch back to Primary BIOS how would you fix the secondary BIOS if card won't boot or work properly with the secondary BIOS?

    What so these switches/bios actually do? Is there better performance etc.... Really would like to know as I'm fixing to do a review over at the egg and a couple of other places. Best to get the facts from a reliable place, plus couldn't find much on the net about it. Thanks.

    No, you can't hot-switch the vBIOS on the fly. A reboot is necessary for the card to boot off the secondary if you switched it from the primary while inside windows.

    okay and I tried the 2nd bios, it didn't make any difference

    Only the SSC and FTW come with double BIOS.

    Yes, the card could become a paperweight if flashed incorrectly.

    If I understand what you are saying correctly, Sajin, then when I boot up with the stock second BIOS (without flashing it!), GPU-Z should display a different BIOS version than the primary BIOS, right?
    Any more information on this BIOS?

    I think I may be doing something wrong then as I get the same results/report from the DOS window regardless of which position #2 is in. For the record, which direction (up or down) disables write protection?  Thanks...this has been a great forum for a n00b to get acquainted with these cards!
