Since purchase from B-Stock I have never been able to get this card to OC stable in the smallest amount. No matter what OS or driver has resolved this. Stock clock will be fine all day. Apply +5,+10 and will crash in stress testing and obviously gaming. This has been confirmed with 2 different machines. So I know for a fact its the gpu itself. Now the only other factor is doing a vbios reflash. If that doesn't resolve, then the gpu is no good for OC and thus its reason for being a b-stock item.
Thoughts?

You never know exactly why a video board was refurbished and later sold as B-stock. It might have been something as simple as a bad fan. If you are unhappy with the performance of the video board you can always submit a support ticket and request an RMA replacement. Remember that B-stock only carries a 1-year warranty so I wouldn't wait too long.

Its past the warranty part. So the only last option is reflash the vbios, deal with the stock clock or sell it.

Best thing in that case is to request someone to mod your current BIOS and unlock the Voltage and TDP to hopefully give that board some room to breathe.

Modding the vbios most likely won't do much for the card if it's crashing at only +5 or +10.

I don't see any other option except maybe reapplying the TIM in case of high temps. At least you don't have to worry about voiding his warranty.

You're already talking to The Master when it comes to VBIOS modding. The one he did for my video boards is truely a work of art. I can run stable at 1640 MHz at 1.275 volts and 150% Power Limit.
