One is the Black Edition (With Higher Clocks), You can do a Compare on the website. Base / Boost Clock 1506 MHz / 1683 MHz -v- 1594 MHz / 1784 MHz Texture Fill Rate 180.7 -v- 191.2 Power Consumption 150 -v- 170

The only thing I can tell is the shroud looks black all specs looks the same

FYI sorry to bump an old thread but the one with the backplate has 5% better performance than the one without. Just wanted to let people know the difference. I own both (2 of each kind) and have noticed the difference. The clocks may be the same but the non Black editions are always running slightly better than the non blacks (a quick change in MSI afterburner can get them pretty close to each other)
