Yep, but I am probably not going to find another Legendary Alien Sniper Rifle. LOL

Do you know the ID number of the weapon? You could probably get it that way.

I get red power warnings too especially if I am using a Fussion Generator.

Do you know why?

The red warning was when I was on the roadway bridge deck. Leaving there and going back to the lower section in the settlement everything was green.

Whatever the issue was, it's gone now.  I just played for about 4 hours with no trouble.

Can you do more building if you use Concrete instead of Wood? Three of my settlements are already capped and I have plenty of room for more. The Castle has a red Power warning and I can't figure out why. I only have a few Laser Canons and they have their own generators. I have several large generators and a Fussion Generator and I'm not powering anything other than the lights in the Castle.

"Can you do more building if you use Concrete instead of Wood?"

I'm not certain but concrete looks better and has better choices/options for the looks appeal than wood and steel. Also, if you use prebuilt shacks they do take a toll on the  available building space. I am going through all my settlements and converting to concrete while scrapping the prebuilt buildings that I placed in them.

Check all of your wiring from the source to all the loads. One or more of your wires is probably not making a clean connection/has something in between it and will need to be rerouted. That's what happened to me. Also the red warning will indicate the status of the generator(s) if there is a damaged one. I had this happen to me also and it was not putting out the full load that it was rated at. You will have to be in the build mode to verify that.

I just found out that I have some really, very stupid settlers. They don't like elevators. All their beds are in the new building and the elevator is the only way to get to it. Now I have to make a tall stairway and entrance. But this is fun. LOL

I tried filling in that hole at Coastal Cottage with concrete and it won't go. I tried covering that hole with wood floor panels and they don't work either. I think concrete pillars on either side and bridging the gap with wood flooring might do the trick. I'll look into the wiring at The Castle and see what I can find. Everything was working properly when I last checked. I can't wait for the 30th so I can get some new DLC to rip through.

Sounds like you might need to add a mod to unlock your building cap.  And no, I don't think that switching to concrete will allow more than wood.

Here's an update that I think changed the power issue as I just battled it. You need to watch your connections and more to the point, the type that you use when feeding power to your loads. I remember reading something about this before and for the most part it wasn't an issue. At least for me and the way I did it up until this last download. Now however it appears that Bethesda tightened this up a bit. Too many wires for feeding your loads coming from a small connection will reduce or cut your power. This makes it tough to detect unless you use the power poles.

Only a couple days before the release and I am looking forward to it.

Regarding the switching to concrete comment. I watched it very close this time and to me it seems that concrete uses less. The bar moves quick with wood where as concrete moves slower. Maybe it's my eyes too. Who knows. LOL

The nice thing about that cap mod that you have is that it isn't tied to or reliant on version.  It works regardless of what version or DLC you have.  Plus it's straightforward and mostly easy to use.

Okay, it's super easy to use.  It's just annoying in the fact that if you have it loaded but don't need to unlock a settlement yet, you have to tell it "not yet" every time (after 24 in game hours) you go to the workbench.    But if you are ready to unlock it, then you can choose how much of a cap you want to unlock.  You can do everything from an additional 10% more capacity to a completely unlimited build cap.

If you are curious Zuhl, here is the mod.    You can either install it manually or use the mod manager to install it.

NOTE:  This mode does not increase the settlement build area, only the build limit/capacity.

Whiskers, how long are you going to ride that fence?

I'd like to get to that page but it keeps directing me to the premium page. Click on the download version at the top of the page. After that you have to make an account and log in. Then it's off to the premium page.

Nice pics. But I am having a tough time waiting for the release date and you make a lot harder. I tell you there ought to be a law of some sort.   j/k

That first pic is dark and hard to make out. Is that a power armor suit?

A word of warning, if you do not want to piss preston off, do Nuka world on a new game, because he gets pissed if you do nuka world and help the raiders just a heads up warning.

The only gameplay videos I have seen are all about killing Raiders so I don't think I am going to understand this whole DLC or the concept behind it at all. I'd better destroy the BOS first and then start the DLC.
