Greetings! I am an owner of GTX 570 . Newly bought as a bargain used card
I would like to install the "updated"/latest bios with the fan unlocker etc. BUT i cannot find any relevant file at the site... Also which program do we use for the update? A little help would be useful ... Thanks

Hello, What is the part number of your card? e.g. 012-P3-1570-AR After you provide me with the part number of your card I will provide you with the correct fan unlocker file for your video card.

In the original message there was the link , but i don't know why it disappeared. Maybe because it was posted by my mobile.
Indeed the model number it 012-P3-1570-AR , it is the reference design with the stock clocks. I would like the latest bios with the fan unlocker, please. PS Why there is no bios in your site ? PS.2 Is there a evga-specific software to use ? or just the nvflash utility?

Here is the fan unlocker & how to use it... #1 Download GTX 570 Fan Unlocker. Link#2 Extract the files to your desktop. #3 Run Update.exe. #4 Press "Y" to begin the update. DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR RESET DURING THE FLASH PROCESS! #5 After update is complete, Restart PC. #6 Re-install the latest NVIDIA graphics drivers after bootup. #7 vBIOS should be updated & fan unlocked.

Part Number: 012-P3-1572-AR Part Desc: EVGA GeForce GTX 570 Superclocked I have bios version 70.10.49.00.75. What is the latest version and will it fix Diablo 3 and Wow weird texture crashes and that god awful "driver stopped responding" black screen. Precision X goes brain dead and continues to not re apply my fan settings and sets the fan performance to stop. This is great if I want to reheat my ham sandwich while gaming, or keep my coffee warm while unattended. :} Not great if you want the card at a lower temp to extend the lifetime. Thanks, --------- Update. One could totally bypass the fan control of Precision X , but plugging in the fan for the video card into the main board and use the PWM control software like SpeedFan . Of course that means using a fan header on your board, but you can always hardwire some other fan to 100% and make sure you can keep on folding with a cool rig. :}

No, each will need a different vbios.

If you're looking to unlock the fans on both cards you will need to use the following unlockers... This one for the GTX 570 HD & This one for the GTX 570 HD SC. Notes: Update one card at a time, have the other card completely removed from the system to prevent any problems.

unlock the fans isn't really a must because i have both watercooled. my ideia was more to have them up to date. lately some games ubisoft mainely, crash my computer when i have the SLI on, to play i have to put the SLI off, for exemple rainbow six siege or assassins creed syndicate

A vbios update isn't going to help with those problems unless you're running some modded vbioses on your cards which could be causing a unstable overclock. You can contact evga and ask them for the latest vbios if you'd like... https://www.evga.com/about/contactus/ EVGA will most likely tell you that you're already running the latest vbios on your cards. Sounds like one of your cards has a problem. You should start a new thread so we can help you figure out exactly what is going on.

I did that, but the result is the same. Maybe it isn't detecting my card, thus closes after "Searching for display adapters to update" ? I have the newest drivers installed.

You may need to install windows 7 and install driver 296.10 to allow nvflash 5.115 to work properly. Try launching update.exe manually with command prompt like this... cd c:\users\your windows user name\desktop press enter update.exe

Ok, with this I finally was able to read a "No display adapters were found that are compatible with this update." message. I'll try installing this older driver and testing, thanks for all the help.
