I'm looking for the latest driver for the Marvell chipset for the X79 Dark. The default driver installed by Windows is terrible. The Dark uses the 9230 controller, right? I'm not looking for the eSATA one, as I have it disabled. Thanks!

Oh man you should never use windows update drivers. Get the latest one from Marvel or EVGA

Well, I can't seem to find it from EVGA or Marvell. Lol.

Yah that's strange i don't see it listed either. Use the driver off the Dark CD.

Just checked the CD. It's a no-go. Only Marvell driver on there is the eSata one.

I re-enabled eSATA and installed the eSATA driver. Marvell 91xx and 92xx SATA 6G controller showed up in the device manager. There is also one called "Microsoft Storage Spaces Controller". What is that?

yah the only thing I disable it the blue tooth and on board sound.

Thanks. I downloaded the driver set and installed the VD driver portion since I only have my Raid 0 array on the Marvell. Now it shows up in device manager. Also got the firmware file off of there, but not sure if I want to try it.
