I want to change the LED color of my two EVGA 1070 FTW cards, but when I select the top card within the PrecisionX OC app, and change the color, it's the 2nd card in my PC which changes, not the first.
Secondly; if I use Nvidia LED visualizer instead, when I select GeForce GTX 1070 (1) and change the LED color there, it is the second card in my PC which changes, not the first. When I select GeForce GTX 1070 (2) and change the LED color, the first card in my PC changes.
Thirdly, within Corsair Link4, the temperature of GPU2 is always reported to be higher than GPU1 as is the fan speed, so clearly the applications on my PC are labeling GPU1 as GPU2 and vise versa, how can I re-identify them?

Im also having the same issue. I had the fan curve turned on for GPU1 for about a month now and noticed my GPU2 was always hotter which is weird cause its being used less. I have already tried Uninstalling EVGA Precision XOC, deleting the EVGA profile folder, rebooting, ran ccleaner to delete the registry keys and then reinstalling. Nothing has fixed it, so all we can do is wait for EVGA to fix it :(

Using evga precision x v5.3.8 should resolve your issue.

GPU1 showing as GPU2, and GPU2 showing as GPU1 has been an issue for a long time. I don't see it being fixed. Both msi afterburner & precision x show the issue.

Thanks for the reply's. :) Too bad there isn't a simple reg hack to fix this. I wonder if it's just how the driver installs the cards depending on which slot they are installed in. Mine are installed on the first slot and last slot on the mobo using the long 4 slot SLI HB connector. Someone else said they have the same config as me with the same problem, so maybe it's related to that kind of config I wonder.
