No cpuz verify yet, but I am currently at 4.544ghz, 1.385v (highest core, adaptive voltage), 65c max temp during stress testing, 101 bclk and I am trying to figure out how to lower them voltage. I wish for a chip as nice as yours.. 4.6 at 1.34 is awesome!

I think the difference is the extra 2 cores, but I can handle that.

I think I got lucky, the machine is stable as can be and the temps for a 140watt TDP CPU are spectacular. I honestly wouldn't mind your CPU but the cost, WOW!

I am going to do video editing and a lot of remote work for my job, I manage a 5 site network so I'm just about always working. I'm also going to try out a few games. I'm currently looking at the LG 34UC97 monitor to replace my aging Dell 27 inchers.

Here are some CPU-Z screenshots along with an anvil benchmark. For Passmark you can see where I progressed as the OC got higher.

3rd Intel 730 is on the way, I wish the write performance was stronger but 3 of them ought to do ok.

I decided against the monitor for now, my 27" 16:10 monitors have a fantastic picture so I'm going to wait for the price to come down. My first X99 Classy had a bad memory controller so I was a bit unimpressed but the replacement has been awesome and EVGA support was very helpful.

I shouldn't have gone with the 240gig 730's however, I should have gone with the 480gig 730's, their write performance is much better.

The worst is building a 70+ lbs rig with a big custom water cooling loop, only having to take it apart because the MB blew.    Nonetheless, great rig you got there Viking.  Happy to hear the 2nd board works flawlessly.  I am just hoping to have the same outcome as you.  I think this time, I am going to test everything outside the case with no custom loop to it.

My thoughts exactly! First time I put everything together, stood it up and it powered on and looked great, I didn't even notice half my memory was missing until I went to go into the BIOS and it took over 5 minutes and some swearing to get into, that was the first sign of trouble.
Considering the O/C I'm seeing I'm happy, I really want another Classified GTX 980, but nobody has them. I'll get one after the new year or so I hope.

Good luck!

Have you thought about trying a higher bus speed and a lower multiplier? I know this can play havoc on the videocard if you're overclocking it but for me it has ended up giving my memory a great boost.
Can you run a Passmark 8 test and give the results?

I will try to do that tonight or tomorrow.

I am going to switch BIOS selectors here soon, and try the 125 bus, and I only overclock the GPUs when I am benchmarking. It is pointless to overclock when everything plays at absolute max on average.

Agreed, I don't O/C the video unless I'm benchmarking but the CPU, I keep humming at 4.57 as in my signature. Love it, tomorrow the 3rd 730 comes in and then I am rebuilding the machine with Windows 8.1 Pro and starting the benchmarking runs all over again... fun times!

Couldn't agree more on 4.5+, everything runs great around that speed.  Why not clock the classifieds though?  For my two 780 classifieds I wish I had modified my bios to 400W immediately, run awesome like that, and don't exceed 42C.  No problems changing the bclk with that bios running, 125 works fine.

I don't do much gaming and what I have tried runs butter smooth, when I get the second Classified GTX 980 I'll be hitting the benchmarks O/C on them but for daily stuff there won't be a need since they run everything out there maxed out with no issues.

I have to say, seeing the Classy 980 GTX running under 30c is pretty awesome as well, full load gets about 55c then it quickly cools down again.

The 700's and 900's turned out good, so hopefully the next couple releases will be too.  I originally jumped from 4x480's to 2x780's, so the change in temperatures was insane, the 480's had me sweating with room going up to 90F in winter lol.

Just installed the 3rd 730 240gig SSD, write performance on a single drive isn't all that remarkable. Funny twist, in Windows 8.1, the CPU runs 36c, in Windows 7 it ran 41c, wow.

Here are a few storage benchmarks with 3 730s in RAID0, installing ANYTHING is instant, it's unreal how responsive this system is.

I am working on installing the OS on the XP941 today, and once I get it figured out, I am going to look at the 125 bclk and see what it can do.

XP941 128gb First runs.  This is an OS dedicated drive.  I have All games going on two 256gb Samsung 840 Pro's.  If one drive dies, it will be easy to replace.

How toasty does that sucker get Scarlet?  Some say they run hot, others not a word...

Scarlet, man look at that CPU score, my max was a tad over 18,000.

I am using extra cold ambient temps.. Ie, it is freezing outside and I have my window open. I have seen it get to 80 with the last motherboard, but not past 70 with this one (due to ambient being much lower, I suppose).

I am not entirely happy with the 2D score on the GPU, but I seriously have no reason to complain. This whole setup is incredible.
