Not too bad for the first day. Haven't done anything with the video card yet, still running stock. System is running stable for the past few hours, CPU at load is 44c.

What are you using for cooling? (hint: I can't see signatures :-()

That is a nice OC so far.

Are you using chilled water loop, regular water loop, or AIO?

    You ghosted me, lol!

That is some really nice temps.

A 1300w is a lot for what you have. Are you planning on adding a second card by any chance? I know they had the 1300w on sale for really good prices a few weeks back, and they may still be selling for a good deal, so I can't fault anyone, but with everything being energy efficient, you could get away with a 750w-850w easily.

Corsair standard H100i, plain 'ol closed loop, CPU is running at 38c right now, the video card is bored, fans are doing nothing, it's strange seeing the video fans at 0, so I manually turned them on to 1,000rpm, it's not like they make much noise at that speed.

What kind of speed are you getting out of the 4x SSD's? I wanted to buy 4 but they ran out so I'm waiting for the next sale.

Just edited my post above as well. You are getting some really good temps out of your system. I think you have an all around winner.

I would say do a good stability test and see if it stays stable all the way through, if so, you win the Silicon Lottery this round :-)

Forgot to answer about the SuperNova, Newegg had it on sale last Friday for $159.99 plus another $20.00 off with a rebate, made it a no brainer. Plus in a few months I'm going to add a second GTX 980.

My SSD's are all independent. I just ordered the xp941 m.2 for the os. I use them to spread the work out in case one dies, I don't lose everything. I keep downloads on the hdd, games split between two SSD's and photos/videos on the others, to keep from chancing losing the photos and videos.

Agreed about the lottery however I went through hell with Newegg on the motherboard, they have charged me $1,170.00 for the motherboard so far due to a snafu in their system. Plus my first board had a bad memory controller so maybe this is the universe being kind. Now I'm going through all the hoops to get my money back.

I'm going to run a 12 hour burn in later on tonight.

When I'm done there will be 4 730's in RAID0, I keep snapshot backups of my array so if a drive goes south, I can bring it back up on 3 and when the replacement comes in, I just have to add it back in and use a new snapshot to bring it all back online. I wanted to go M.2 or a PCIe drive but 4 in RAID0 will smoke anything for the same money so I'm going that route.

Holy cow, was the traces made out of pure gold in that motherboard? Hope you get a lot of money back!

As for the PSU, I want to run all independent PSU's for overclocking, once I can pick up ln2 pots, so I agree with getting the 1300w for the amazing price they sold for. I currently have two and also won a 1600g2. I am very happy with the 1300's so far, although everything I am pushing is pulling close to the limit on the I am 1 currently using for testing. (according to the PSU chart that people use, but I don't have a link to it) so I am going to happily split the load between two 1300's .

I need to start overclocking.. I set it to 4.0 on auto and let it start folding for the current time zone challenge that is going on, and stopped there. I had the cpu up to 4.54 at 1.38v on the Micro, but I had DIMM issues as well and had only bought the board for testing out all of the equipment I owned.

I am very highly impressed with x99 being such a new architecture. I am ready to see the new revisions ad they occur.

Agreed, so far, since the bad taste of the first motherboard is out of my mouth now I am very impressed with the system. I did expect a better score from the GTX 980 in 3Dmark11 but I have more work to do to see what this system can do.

Wow, nice temps with a AIO.  You'd think you would need a custom loop but you go yourself a nice chip.

Agreed, I got lucky, it ran through all of the FireStrike benchmarks and never went over 42c running at 4.68GHz, I haven't overclocked the video card yet though. I am installing 2 more 730 SSD's this week, I can't wait to see how 4 in RAID0 does in storage benchmarks.

I can't wait to see how they do in Raid either, lol. I am looking forward to the m.2 as well... :-) I have never run a storage benchmark, but I will soon.

If you had an mSATA compatible m.2 slot, I could sell one for cheap. I bought the wrong one by accident.

Sec while I wipe the drool off the floor.  4 SSDs in Raid 0.  Please let us know the numbers you get, my goodness. lol

This is the post that it is in. If you truly are interested, please make sure it is compatible with your board. It is only mSATA, so it probably won't be as fast as 4 SSD raid 0. It is also only 128gb which I was going to use for os use only.

Not too bad for the first day. Haven't done anything with the video card yet, still running stock. System is running stable for the past few hours, CPU at load is 44c.

Nice temps.  The 5960x is like cooling a nuclear reactor, got 68c (23c ambient) at 4501 and 1.351v.  Think I might need to upgrade the radiator, got some good BTU'age kicking out of it so there's probably some residual heat going on.

You build excellent rig with X99. Is it your Processor Intel i7-5820K full stable under H100i on 4.6GHz???
And I just saw your MODS RIGS Pictures, and now think how to install my SuperNOVA as you or upside down.
Same is with GTX980 Classy, nice score, 1000+ points over mine out of box and drivers will probably to improve that for 200-300 in next months.

I changed my overclock from a multiplier of 47 and a bus speed of 100 to a bus speed of 126.97 and a multiplier of 36. So my CPU speed has lowered a tad from 4.68GHz to 4.570GHz but with an increased bus speed my memory has gone up in speed to 2793MHz. I also bumped the video card a bit but forgot to write it down due to dinner... I believe it was a GPU clock offset of +76 and a memory clock offset of 176. I need to do a few more runs but all of the scores that have gone up have been adjusted in my MODS profile.

I have since hit 18,861 in 3Dmark11 after initially getting17,933.

I also increased my 3Dmark Fire Strike from 12,700 to 13,601
