Unfortunately I've been barely able to touch mine.. I've got like 4 hrs of use out of mine since i got it 2 or so weeks ago. I'm half tempted to sell it to someone who would use it... But i know that as soon as i sell it, i'll probably have time to use it. Thats typically how things work for me.

Finally! mine has shipped. will arrive on Friday.
I wanted to ask, will the monitor be shipped in its original packaging or will it be inside one of those generic brown shipping boxes? I'm asking because if it's the latter, i'll ask ups to just leave it at the front door so i can grab it after i'm home. Otherwise i'll ask them to deliver it to the office.

Just got mine yesterday from TigerDirect. Comes in its own box. No UPS outside box. Looks fantastic. No dead pixels. Just a huge upgrade from my previous monitor.
One issue I noticed this morning is Gsync turned off and in my NVidia control panel it was not an option anymore. Im going to recheck when I get home tonight. Worked perfect last night. Not sure if its because I turned on my computer before my monitor.

Don't sell it. Leave it on the desk to just admire from afar

Mine came from Newegg in it's own box.  If you're concerned about it, I'd ask them to deliver it to the office as you mentioned...  Why risk it.

Same, shipped in the monitor box only. Once I saw delivered, I just told my boss BRB and ran home to put it inside. Worked out but from now on I'll have things sent to the office instead.

Last night I got to test my uncles 980(reference on reference cooler) on his new swift. WOW! I was really impressed with how well his single card pushed that resolution.

Metro LL playing down in the 50-60 super fast and smooth. I can't wait for Pascal so I can sell these Titans and get back to a single GPU.

Yeah, there isn't a game I have where my 780Ti can't play at max settings with 50fps+, and most of them around 100.  The only adjustment in settings I made in a couple cases is reduction in AA.  And the difference between say 2xmsaa & 4xmsaa doesn't seem to be noticeable (to me) at this res.

Got the monitor today. running it with dual Titan Blacks in SLI. Happy to say there are no problems so far, although my eyes hurt from the tiny text on steam! god they hurt!!
Valve need to add some text scaling for steam or something.

Something else i noticed. As long as i'm on 144hz and idle on desktop, one of the gpu's run a little bit above idle clocks and temps. no big deal though.

Yeah, would be nice if Steam added something like that...

Just set your res in the NVCPL to 120Hz.  That will reduce your clock speed to idle.  When you enter a game, use the monitor's Turbo button to increase the Res to 144Hz.  When you exit the game, the res will go back to 120Hz...

Monitor has shipped and will be delivered Monday. Woot
Now I'm wondering if I need to upgrade my video card. Do you guys think my single 770gtx will cut it (2G)? I am playing wow and shadows of mordor atm. Maybe add another 770? or a single 780ti?

I would wait until you get and try out the new Swift with your current GPU.  See how it works.  The nice thing about Gsync is, you don't need as much graphics power as without it because even running at 40 FPS is as smooth as running at 140 FPS.  Actually smoother because the monitor is synced to the GPU's output.

Once you do some gaming with the settings you like, you'll know if you need a GPU upgrade.  If you're getting dips in the low 30's or below at the settings you like, then you'll know it's time to upgrade.

I haven't played anything yet that my single 780Ti didn't play great using max settings.  Crysis3 I had to disable AA to keep from dippiing under 40FPS on a few of the maps, but otherwise, max settings with a little AA and you're good to go.

Can anyone comment on how great this monitor is compared to a 1440p Korean IPS which is overclocked to 120Hz? I tried looking for a way to search relevant terms in this thread but I'm either an idiot or that's a basic function that's lacking...

I'm concerned with the TN colors and the matte display coating. I'm sure the glossy IPS I have is better in both regards, but I don't know how much better. I know on my last 1080p ASUS the matte coating gave that ugly grain effect on certain backgrounds. Color reproduction I'm not super-concerned with. I guess what I'm really after is how much smoother is gameplay going to be at 144Hz on a TN panel w/ G-sync vs 120Hz on IPS? I've yet to see a G-sync monitor in person, but 60Hz to 120Hz was an amazing difference which I've only seen on this IPS monitor, which may have delay I'm just used to seeing.

MSI X570 Tomahawk | Ryzen 5800X | Samsung 980 Pro | 32GB Trident Z Neo | RTX 3090
 Obsidian 5000D | SuperNOVA 1000 P2 | 48" C1 4K LG OLED | Naga | G915 TKL | Sennheiser HD 800 S | Grace m9XX

G-sync. It makes all the difference. This gives the swift a huge advantage over the other 1440p monitors. It also helps that it has 3D Vision 2, a high quality 8-bit TN panel (way better colors than other TN ones,) 1ms response time, and 144hz refresh. All these make it just perfect for gaming. At least imo.
