Always liked the STi's and the sound of their boxter engine is just pure sex to me. As much as I love the GTI, I'm really leaning towards a scooby for my next car. More so if VW doesn't add some serious base HP numbers to it soon.

I wish..  Just a regular GTI with DSG. If vw holds true the MKVII is supposed to be some 200 or so pounds lighter and produce around 230+ hp / 230+ tq it might be worth looking at but still weak compared to others in its class.

+1 lols I have an Eclipse too, I've thought about trading it in before but the value is so low(sadly) it just doesn't seem worth it to me, specially if the eclipse is still performing very well. Gotta have a beater car to save the miles from being on the new car :) I float both ways with much love for the Evo and STi. Just that deep boxer rumble always has me sold.
