So...I always meant to come in here and tell everyone that thing is a beast! I got a nice lil ride in it back in like June, and it was awesome! The sound, the acceleration, the torque....OMG! My car will never get close to that but some day...Some day I will have something like it!

Anyway, Wrin, was a pleasure meeting you, and a pleasure riding in your car. Thanks for that man!

Got to have the Pioneer! One of the top companies I recommend for stereos. I must say all those little gauges are really cool. A freind of mine suggested I put some in my car but I told him I am not going to be paying attention to them when I race. All I have is the stock boost gauge and oil pressure. But the boost gauge I have only goes up to 12 PSI. I am at 18 PSI now with my Kenne Bell supercharger.  Hey does your thing tell you how many Gs your car is pulling? The only car I seen that tells you that is the 2012 Skyline GTR. Also does it give you a graph or a layout of some sort that informs you of how much tire pressure you have in each wheel?

the gauge setup is a cheap Bluetooth obd2 reader and an android app called "torque." I just hdmi it into the head unit. all the gauges are customizable and there are a ton to chose from with max/min recall style and type. it uses the phones build in g-meter, gps and anything your stock ecu will report to odb2.

Very nice!  I know they are quick, but I just cannot get past the sound of that engine though.  They always sound like they're running on three cylinders to me.
Generational difference I guess.  I grew up in a time when if you didn't have eight cylinders and at least four hundred cubic inches, you got laughed at.
Only once was I ever able to afford a real 'muscle car'.  My first new car was a '69 Hemi Roadrunner.  I know that these days, with computers and electronics it's easy to get amazing amounts of horsepower out of little engines, but back then, it was fun!  Amazing amounts of torque.
I had to sell it to go off to college, and I wish I had it back now as it would really be worth some serious bucks, assuming I had been able to keep it in good condition.
Nowadays..., I worry more about heated seats and electronic toys to keep me amused.  My aging backside needs the comfort on those cold winter days and with all the traffic..., you can't begin to use even a little of the performance without getting pulled over.

you could retire on what a nice hemi roadrunner sells for. suitability for the street was not that great as they are not made for cruzing type driving, now if you want to say keep it around 3500 rpm or higher they were great but a bit hard on the race gas (well back then 100 octane leaded gas cheap)

Actually.., they weren't that bad at normal driving.  Most of the time they ran on the two primary barrels of the rear carburetor.  Pushing the go pedal down about half-way would open the primaries on the front carb, and a little more than that, and the secondary's on both four-barrels would start to open.  The earlier 'Max Wedge' engines with the 'cross-ram' manifolds were a lot more difficult to drive at low rev's.  The Hemi was a pretty smooth running engine as long as you kept the plugs clean, the dual-point distributor adjusted and the lifters adjusted, (solid lifters until the last year, 1970.)  The three-speed automatic needed more gears to really make it go.  The tires of that time were too narrow and too much throttle made a bunch of tire-spin, even with the limited-slip rear end.  They were rated at 425 hp, but made more than that, probably around 475.  But that was SAE gross hp, not the SAE net rating we use today.  By the standard of those days, the engine in my mini-van is a higher performance engine than the Hemi.  The Hemi produced about 1 hp/ci.  My Chrysler Town & Country has a 219 ci engine that puts out 283 hp.
The gas may have been inexpensive by today's standards, but remember that wages were a lot less back then and I was just working at grocery store making money for college.

Kram yeah it was borrowed quick so she could ride along. And that s10 was doing 10s all day.

Haz this was at beaverspings pa. Its 2700 ft above sea level and a 6ft climb on the length ofthe track. So the track is know to be slow. I ran 12.9 @ 105 all 6 runs i did. If i was bracket racing i would have had a great day.

Motor gets pulled end of the month. 2-3weeks at the machine shop then another few to install and setup the new pipes and hoses. After that i have to wait for the dyno to open up for tuning time.

good luck with the build. i've had a few turbo subies over the years and cracking the block is scary lol. you going to roadrace or track it otherwise? or will this be a fun dd? running the dom3 on pump gas only or meth too? e85 is nice. wish i had some that was at least remotely convenient to obtain.

its a fun DD beater and track day car. its running just 93pump gas atm, the FMIC is bigg enough to not need meth.

as for e85 we are just starting to get it here. but you need like 30% more flow rate for the extra HP it produces. it just not worth the hassel for a DD car atm for me.
