Currently I have the AOC CQ32G1 curved and a 27" Dell ultra sharp. I'm waiting to see if the new AOC Agon AG324UX 4k 144hz is for sale in Europe.

I upgraded when I got my 3080ti.  I picked up a LG 38gn950-b.  38" 3840x1600 IPS 160hz 1ms.  It checked all the boxes for me.

what the difference between that oen and this one

I was looking at this yesterday, price doesnt matter to me, I am trying to see if one is much better ?  I never had an ultrawide curve but thinking of upgrading since I currently have a 1440P 144hz 27 Dell S2716DGR which looks really good but I need more real estate and was considering an ultra wide or just adding a second monitor

An Asus 34" 3440x1440 120hz ultrawide. The 3080ti, even non-overclocked, is pretty much overkill for this monitor. Not that that's a bad thing. :-)

cotter32LG 32” Class QHD Gaming Monitor with G-SYNC, model 32GK850G-B
2560 x 1440, 144 Hz, 5ms refresh rate.
1000 ms / 144 hz = 6.9 ms per frame. If 5 of those 6.9 ms image changing... I bet https://www.testufo.com/ghosting wil not looks good.
But if people fine with that... similar monitor(32", QHD, 165 Hz, 5ms, G-Sync), will be on sale at Costco for $250 after Nov 15.

Main monitor Dell D2719HGF 144Hz 2ms 1080P, it was cheap but surprisingly works quite well, good color accuracy especially vs previous TN monitors ive owned, also Gsync works great on it, The +1 Overdrive setting works well as long as the game isn't capped 60fps (Sekiro comes to mind) but for the majority of games its an improvement vs disabled.

Secondary is an old 1080P/60Hz Samsung 2333T 8ms VA panel sold as an office/business model, has nice PQ due to contrast & deep black levels VA's are known for but wouldn't want to game on it.

Been looking at 1440P models lately and the Nano IPS based LG 27GP83B might be a good buy, review for anyone curious: https://youtu.be/aHh91RvpR3k

Can't decide which monitor to buy:
Acer Nitro XZ273U Xbmiiphx 27" WQHD (2560 x 1440) 240Hz HDMI DP FreeSync HDR Curved LED Gaming Monitor - 240 Hz sounds good, but it is VA panel which mean slowest response time. Also 1000R curvature kind of "extreme".
Acer Nitro XV272U Vbmiiprx 27" WQHD (2560 x 1440) 170Hz HDMI DP FreeSync HDR400 IPS LED Gaming Monitor - IPS, should be fast response time, but it flat and 170 Hz doesn't sounds so excited as 240 Hz.

i think ips is better graphics quality check out the 1440p 240 ips monitors probably a little more money

With this monitor / resolution CP77 everything cranked ...except "Psycho" and DLSS on "Quality" I am anywhere between 63 FPS (lowest) to 82 FPS (highest).

LG CX48 (4K OLED), and I LOVE it!  It requires some tender loving care, since they designed it as a TV first and a monitor second, but the picture quality is absolutely amazing.  The one thing that drives me a bit nuts is that it doesn't have a standby mode like monitors do, so it actually turns itself completely off after a few minutes of inactivity, meaning I have to keep the remote handy, and since I use it with three other supplemental monitors, my windows end up in random spots every time I turn it on.  But it's worth the trouble (and the word on Windows 11 is that it's supposed to handle multiple monitors much better than windows 10... I hope so).

I have nothing. I recently got a 3070ti. I'm in the process of looking for two monitors. I would like to do a dual monitor setup. One for video/photo editing and the other for gaming. It's been suggested to me to shoot for a 1440p 144hz IPS 27 in monitor for gaming (at the bare minimum). I'm open for any suggestions for either gaming or video/photo editing. I would like to keep the budget under $700 for both monitors combined.

It's interesting to see how many people are now using the LG CX as a monitor instead of a TV. I know they are an amazing television so I can see why the smaller model would be popular.

I'm super tempted by the LG CX 48" but I think 48" will be too big for a 30" viewing distance
