As the title says, will a 750w psu be able to handle two gtx 670's in SLI? Please let me know/ Thanks. Oh BTW, I am not going to overclock any of the cards.

guhati RainStryke Yes, it should be more than enough. What brand/model PSU are you talking about though? Some 750w PSU's can't push their rated wattage. 433w @ full load with a overclocked system using SLI GTX 670's. Source: http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_670_2_and_3way_sli_review,4.html I have a TX750W. I am sure that's a reputable PSU, right? Thanks for the link btw. Yep, that's a pretty solid PSU. You will be fine.

Depends what CPU are you using? I've also though for long time it was enough for all kind of systems and seems like I was wrong... I got one EVGA SuperNOVA NEX1500 on the Giveaway and also bought two GTX 670 FTW not overclock right now beside memory which don't take more than 10 Watts while OC'ed and with my I7 920 @ 4.2 Ghz I saw it pushing about 790 Watts when gaming ( Battlefield 3 ) ... That's SuperNOVA software which gave me those values ... Then I just underclocked my CPU to its original speed , then undervolted it to 0.975 ( yes it's stable at that voltage @ 2.66 ghz D0 Stepping BTW ), and put VSYNC enabled on my GPU's seems like it doesn't go over 660~ Watts

willem445 750 should be good. I usually visit here when I need to calculate wattages. http://extreme.outervisio..m/psucalculatorlite.jsp It calculates overclocks even and you can select load as well. I calculate mine @ 100% load so I know what to buy. It's funny that you mentioned this website. Before coming here I did this and got an estimated wattage of 477. Didn't believe it but man oh man, these Kepler gpu's are something else. They definitely pack a punch!

Yup the 600 series are amazing when it comes to power draw. My 2500k at 4.7 and oc'ed 670 only pull about 450w maybe 500 max.

Also take into consideration the age of your psu. I thought I'd be fine with a 750w quality psu (Silverstone Strider) but my pc would just restart when I loaded up a game (This is with a 2600k at 2.4ish). It would work fine if I took my processor overclock off, but yeah... don't think so haha. I got a TX950 off a forum member here and haven't had any issues since :)

I was running OC 580s and 2600k @ 4.7Gz (POS chip so ~1.41v) with no problems on a X-760W. I'd be very surprised if any of the SLI setups in 600 series would cause problems (690 being SLI already). Either way now I'm running 670 4GB SC+ in SLI no problem (power point of view).

I have an Antec HCG 750 pushing my 2500K @ 4.5GHz and SLI 680 FTW+ 4GB. I had been think about upgrading to AX850, because I thought I was having issues with the cards, but there no problem at all.

SeanEJohan You need a 850 watt psu assuming you overclock cpu/gpu. Once you add up all the wattage from case fans HD's DVD/RW etc you'll see your well into the 800 wattage range. I used this calculator- http://www.coolermaster.outervision.com/advance.jsp I haven't overclocked anything and I don't intend to YET. I have used the calculator you provided and according to my specs I use about 495 Watt total.
