I have to say going in that overclocking this motherboard and CPU combination is about as easy as it can get. The 2600K CPU is an amazing piece of hardware, and the P67 FTW is certainly a great board to pair up with it. I'll update this post with further results as I get the clocks higher, but I will start with a 4.8Ghz overclock and explain how I got there.
 
I began by reading Jacobs guide which is a must read for the first timer, if nothing else it gets you pointed in the right direction. When I first began to overclock this combo I set the vCore to the suggested 1.3v but quickly realized that amount of voltage was not necessary for early testing. Heck, I was able to get to 4.0Ghz on stock voltage! The current 4.8Ghz overclock has still not warranted a CPU Voltage above 1.3v as set in BIOS. The voltage does climb a bit higher under stress testing because of the "Without Vdroop" setting I use, but the highest I have seen registered is 1.317.
 
Here is how I set the BIOS up for the 4.8Ghz clock.
Main Overclocking Screen

• CPU Multiplier = 48
• Vdroop = Without
• Internal PLL Voltage Overide = Enabled
• CPU Vcore = 1.30v
• Dimm Voltage = As per Manufacturers Specs, in my case 1.5v

CPU Advance Configure Sub Menu

• EIST = Disabled
• C1E Support = Disabled
• CPU C3 Report = Disabled
• Turbo Mode = Enabled

Memory Configure Sub Menu

• Memory Multiplier = As per your memory's speed rating, in my case 1866
• Speed Profile Select = Custom Profile
• I always set the following parameters manually and let BIOS's auto detection set the rest. Make sure and set as per manufacturers specs for your memory. Also make sure you enter each channel and set the values as described. If you do not set the values for each channel you risk the possibility of having them be different which will cause all sorts of stability problems.
  
  1. tCL
  2. tRP
  3. tRCD
  4. tRAS
  5. tRFC Command Rate

I ran a 20 pass run of LinX to ensure stability, here is that screen shot. I used E-Leet to bump the BCLK setting just a tad so CPU-z would read a CPU speed of 4.8Ghz.

 
Either later tonight or tomorrow I'll be trying 5.0Ghz and higher, it'll be interesting to see how far this setup will go.  Stay tuned!

I found LinX doesn't stress Sandy Bridge like Prime95 does unless you run the AVX version. LinX normal will pass a lot of crazy overclocks for me but it isn't full stable.
 
AVX is core of SB and will put it to the test for stability:

Edit: Nevermind. Looks like you're using AVX version due to the high Gflops.

Sorry it has taken me so long to update this thread, but real life has a way of taking priority.....LOL.
 
Anyway, the latest attempt was at 5.0Ghz and I managed to get there! I had to raise the CPU voltage to 1.350 this time around as well as the VCCIO up to 1.10v and it flew right through 20 passes of LinX.

Don't be discouraged if you are having trouble hitting the same frequency at the same voltage as LVcoyote.  Every cpu is different and requires its own settings.  Start with Jacob's OC guide stickied at the top and slowly work your way up.  It should also be mentioned that a good number of 2600k's top out at 4.8 (although it is usually just a vCore issue where it needs more voltage but then your temps start to get out of control).
