I have two, 295 cards in sli mode. I have noticed a few things with the OC scanner that may be why some are getting so much variation on the readings.
First my 295s have to settle after I make changes or start the OC scanner.  You can see the cards going from the running clock setting (in my case 684 core clock) to the 400 and then the 300 idle setting. These are built into the cards but can be changed.
If you start the scanner tests at different times as the card(s) is (are) slowing down you will get different readings.  You will also get different readings if you change the time the test takes.  A 60 sec. reading will be alot higher than a 30 sec. test. Changing the screen res. or using a window instead of full screen mode will change the readings. The low readings in SLI usualy mean that only one card is working.
I can see this on the EVGA precision readouts.
So the only way to get a comparable reading is to let the card(s) idle down and do the test using the same screen settings everytime.

For me the fastest times (3362) are achieved when the cards start from idle.  This is in 1920x1080 full screen, with a 30 sec. time limit.

OC Scanner multi GPU support isn't perfect.  If your second card goes past 50% usage in other applications (games, benchmarks) then the OC Scanner is the issue.

yea i kinda figured that bored since games and apps will use over 50% on the second GPU it just something with OC scanner but it seems to have cleared up i ran it again today got a 2733 and both GPUs went up to about 90% so must just have bugged out on that run.

Hello

Just posting my oc scanner score for my EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 640 Superclocked. It gave the card a score of 488 points running at my monitor native resolution of 1680x1050.  GPU: 56C with fan speed at 89%. I do not know what the score means.
Have just ordered an EVGA 01G-P3-1373 Ar GeForce GTX 460 Superclocked EE 1GB 256-bit...
Once I get the new card installed I will run oc scanner and compare the results.
What results should I expect from the new card when running the oc scanner test?

Re:post your EVGA OC SCANNER benchmark results 2012/01/01 12:54:25 (permalink)
Those results are odds, don't know if mine worth anything but still...

Got a eVGA GTX 480 HC, cooled by a homemade waterchiller.

i7 920 D0 @ 4.2 Ghz 1.35v H24 rock stable with 6 GB of OCZ Gold LVe 1600 Mhz RAM and a Seasonic X-660 to power it all.

@ Stock on the GTX480 I got 2361 pts (1920x1080 FS)

@ 1850 Mhz on Core (1.100v) and 2150 Mhz on memory I hit 2836 pts.

Didn't try to push my luck further even though never the GPU temp got past 35°C during various stress test (OCCT, 3D mark vantage and 2011, FurMark, TessMark etc...).

This card is just so unbelievably overclockable, GTX480 isn't dead, with proper cooling it's like overclocking a Barton back in the days, the extra mhz just ask to be summoned.

TT Level 10 - Seasonic X-660W - Asus Sabertooth X58 - i7 920 @ 4.2 Ghz - eVGA GTX480 900/1800/2100 Mhz - Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion - OCZ Colossus 256GB - etc...
Waterchilled @ 16°C

None of the scores mean anything without a standard resolution to go on.
I was able to receive wildly different scores just by changing the resolution from 1080x1920 to 256x256, even more with custom resolutions that bug out the bench box and give crazy scores in the 10k+ area.
I say we start over and post a non heavy mode (high GPU usage) Furry test 512x512 score only, so the scores can be compared without the resolution and/or Heavy mode variable.
