2. Adds TRIM support when SSDs are configured as RAID 0/1/10
3. Adds the capability to view expander and update expander fw in Windows 8 and Server 2012.

Here is a fellow using an ASUS board which has RSTe RAID Option ROM version 3.5.0.1005.
With these drivers he confirms trim works.

I've read that this might be the earliest OROM these drivers work with. The DARK 2.02 bios had an older OROM but the 2.05 was supposedly updated.

You may want to be asking if they cam implement the regular IRST drivers and roms bud. This would give you about a 20% bump in performance in R0 arrays. It is nice that they have trim in the E drivers now but they are so slow compared to the IRST driver set and rom combo.

In the asus bios you can choose which rom and driver set to go with for install so it can absolutely be done. Many other oems now also have the bios option.

I posted this for the general users. I have copied the latest RST OROM into the bios. Not only does this enable trim but gives a great benchmark.

Nice. They support windows 8.1 as well
I'm going to wait for gaming benchmarks to be available for 8.1
I see people who run windows 8 are getting much higher FPS in games like Metro 2033 & FarCry 3.
