don't do it.   I shoot a compound bow.  the amount a stress on the risers can be a catastrophic disaster.

    Lucky he still.has a hand🙄.
Id seen gruesome stuff worst than this is cool

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

I do wonder about 3d printed stuff and how strong it is, and if it'll have a high risk of having faults and defects that could cause it to break a lot easier than something made the old fashioned way, even with the same material.

A band-aid and some Triple acting ointment will fix that right up.

I had the rubber that goes from the bow to the peep sight on the string break on me.
Hit me right in the eye, thought for sure it split my eyeball in half the way it hurt so bad.
After that I use clear safety glasses when shooting.
Not shot in a few years now. I used to shoot in a league and in tournaments.

Never going to be able to stop itching that hand now with all that carbon fiber imbedded in there. On the other hand (pun intended) they need a lot more power on that bow, it didn't even go down to the fletching.

a riser failure caused this injury?? Did the arrow slip down into the grip and penetrate the hand?

op - cool bow but id also be scared of drawing on a 3D printed bow. What was the plastic used?

    Hope your hand is okay!

op-  that is super awesome but the concerns are valid about the strength of it.
