Yeah, its taken a lot of research and one sort of not so great Xeon build to learn what to buy and what not to buy for a true custom workstation build. Basically use Boxx Systems as your guide as well as see what apple is putting into their systems for a solid build that you wont kill off in a year. I only buy the workstation motherboards from Asus, they are worth every penny. Can't wait to get my hands on this new Sage edition, its a beast of a motherboard. Dual PLX chips...i mean for $514 bucks for the board of CDW...its a killer board. I'm curious to see what changes Intel makes to the new x299 CPU's that supposedly come out the end of this year...hopefully they use real solder and not toothpaste this time around..
