Iā€™m looking at 3080 or higher. Prefer 3080ti or 3090fe but Iā€™m not paying 2x scalper prices. Been seeing the 3080ti around $1900 and some 3080s around $1000. Prices def coming down.

Yeah, ordered a 3080 before from msi for about 850 euro, but after 5 months of waiting it got cancelled. So now i have to look for a new one.

I wonder if the 3090 kingpin $2100 msrp is worth the upgrade over say a 3080ti or 3090fe for the regular everyday gamer? Would it mean I wouldnā€™t have to upgrade as quickly? Iā€™m curious.

Got a guy here locally with a 3080ti fe card that said he would sell it for $1600 if he didnā€™t get a buyer by next week. Iā€™m debating on that or just waiting a few more months for a 3090fe

Thatā€™s what Iā€™m saying. Do I pay that guy secondary market prices for 3080ti performance OR buy the kingpin at msrp (I believe itā€™s available now) OR just keep waiting it out for a less expensive card at msrp some point Iā€™m the future.

Personally i would never buy the really special cards, i dont think ghe extra cost, justifies the extra performance. But in this case i woumd go fot the kingpin, it is at msrp and is way more futureproof.

But u know, futureproof is relative. Next generation, the 70 card is probably as powerful as the ti or 90 card.
