best case scenario, tbh im pretty sure nvida loves this chaos, its making them sell out and not have to take risk. i have the odd feeling they could keep up with the drought but arent willing to risk it in case this bubble pops.

depends. rizen + is in march and amd says it will be stronger than the 17 and 18x chips out now and zen2 is coming NEXT year plus nvidia seems to be making moves to release ampere (doubt it) soon, i would wait but then again, you are buying this thing to last yu 5 to 6 years right? plus if you OC you can match the performance of the newer chips for 2 to 3 gens. the i7 line aged pretty well if you ask me.

my god i used to have so many cards. i used to be one of the nerds who would un ironically end up walking around with a giant booklet full of cards. funny, i'm aiming to be an illustrator at magic, i guess this inspired me after all.

I regret not buying a 1080ti sooner, but oh well. Its getting to the point that I will probably just go 2080. I am looking for one to slap in an external GPU.
