your windows key is tied to your mobo. but windows 10 makes it easier now since you can log into your windows account when you set up on the new one and it should validate it. worst case scenario you call windows customer service.
As long as you have your windows key handy that is.

Used card should be fine. But would be better to have a card with a warranty. Computer parts are supposed to last a long time. Anything from the last couple generations should be safe to buy provided the owner didn't run it at high temperatures a lot. Mined cards should be fine also because most miners undervolt their cards and run them at low clock speeds because clock speeds doesn't increase mining performance as much so they would rather save on electricity costs and keep relative efficiency.

On another random note, i'm trying to figure out my desk/workstation configuration. I'm realizing the monitors and desktop will take up a lot of real estate. Can anyone make good recommendations for desk? I've been looking at L shaped desk setups.

^^ I was gonna check it out last weekend, but we had that whole 60 degrees one day, snowing the next. Now this week it was up to 78 yesterday and will be 39F tonight. Even brought out the shorts and sandals yesterday.
