Hi! I am an older than dirt, disabled army vet. Love pc building. I usually build the best rig that I can afford, every 5 years or so and its that time again.

I receive a disability from the USAF, so I understand that. When it comes to old I believe I am much older than you. If you are building a new rig you might want to wait until next gen AMD CPUs come out as well as next gen Intel CPUs which should be in September or later.

Can't wait for the next gen CPU's and Motherboards. Am definitely going to retire this EVGA x99 Classified build and salvage what I can from it. Hoping for a board that has DDR5 or 6. I am sure EVGA won't disappoint

Greetings! I'm a long-time EVGA fan going back to the TNT days. Had to get one so I could play Deus Ex. Heck of a game!  One of my favorite cards was the 8800 Ultra. What a beast of a card that was! It could run anything back in its day. Was so good that I didn't upgrade from it until the GTX 1080 came out.  My next card is going to be a 1660 Super which, if the articles I'm seeing are right, will be the last new EVGA card I get. It's too bad cause EVGA is one of the good guys of the biz. Glad they'll still be making mobos and other parts. Maybe they'll make cards for the Intel GPU chips if those really get off the ground.

When I'm not gaming on my home-built PCs, I'm playing on my Atari 2600 (which is almost as old as I am), WiiU, Genesis 3, NES or SNES.  I also love to garden, read everything from comic books to classics and write for fun and profit (well, now and then anyway).  Social media is fun and all, but I'm glad that forums like this are still around and active.

Hi there, have been using EVGA products since 2007, very satisfied with all the motherboards, graphics cards and psu's that I've bought from the company, never had any problems with anything, so never had the opportunity to post about any problems here. Just thought that I would say hi, and keep up the great work guys!

Hey, everyone!

I am the creator of a Garfield Kart mod called "Fargield Kart - Furious Racing". The mod is based on EVGA Weekly on Twitch and its lore, which is sadly coming to an end. However, I'm working on making the next Fargield Kart update really special as a little tribute to the streams.

I really appreciate everyone's warm welcomes in the EVGA community so far. It's been very wholesome and kind. Thank you so much! :)

Sorry it's taken me 2 years to post here. Busy, Busy :D

Let's see, about me. Lifetime electronics technician. Started in high school vocational class. Career in the navy as an ET nuclear. Did PLCs and stuff in steel mills. Now I volunteer my time with things that I enjoy, and a lot of that is computer hardware related. I'm also into weight lifting, mountain biking, and kayaking. I can't run anymore because my knees are just shot!

I can't even remember what my first EVGA hardware was. I know in recent memory the last NEW card I bought was an RTX 3080 FTW for my wife's gaming rig. I have quite a few EVGA PSUs and older cards in the house, and most of them are in use folding.

I love overclocking. I am often buying old ebay stuff to tweak and attempt those HWBOT records. I have this one EVGA card that I just can't seem to crack though. It's an old GTX 750 FTW with dedicated 6-pin. The thing just won't draw more than like 50W though it it surely built to draw way more than that. I've firmware edited the power and voltages on other Maxwell cards but this one locks me out no matter which version of NVFLASH and MBE I have tried.

I don't know how to edit my rig specs. What you see on the modmymods thing is what I was running 2 years ago on my main rig.

Thanks for having me here!
