So i finally finished assembling my new build and tried to fire it up. It seems to be going through the boot codes fine until it gets to code 28 and stops. I might've had it at code 28 for about 10m now. Haven't tried to let it go for a lot longer yet. Tried booting with just 1 stick of RAM and that made no difference. All the fans are working. Fans on both EVGA 2080 Supers are running. Both EVGA 850GA PSU's are running. No idea which BIOS is on the board, won it on an EVGA Twitch stream nearly 2 years ago. Have a G6900 in it right now w/a 12900KS standing by for eventual use

I really hope I don't have to tear out a GPU & PSU to try and get it to post.

I suppose I could try one of the other BIOS's. But I've not flashed any newer BIOS's to any of the positions yet so don't see why another one would work. You'd THINK that the first BIOS position wouldn't be corrupt...

Am I missing something?

Sounds like you'll need to update your bios like this guy did... https://forums.evga.com/No-display-m3581857.aspx

Sorry for the late reply but long rona has messed up my health in ways where my daily activities are quite limited. But today i was ok enough to try flashing the BIOS and it indeed fixed the issue just like it did for the other guy. I'd thought that this thing could run the G6900 from base BIOS but I guess not. So thanks for pointing me in the correct direction! And now is the fun part of installing Windows & errything else involved in setup.

And need to find where to turn off the board RGB...
