Well let me inject some reality here.

1) 1.15 is still in beta from what now it's 3+ months? And you expect a new bios to come out? What about wrapping up 1.15 out of beta?
2) You don't go 3+ months without a single reply back were working on it okay, what about 1.15 beta no final? Realistically there should have been 1.15 released and then upcoming 1.16+ for the 14900K.
3) This lack of communication says it all hey I could be wrong I hope I am but reality is a harsh thing.

Why does everyone have such a hard time reading the existing posts from EVGA techs themselves here on the forum in response to my original post that started this thread, and in several other places that state "We are working on update for next gen Intel CPUs and will have more to say when its done" ????  This is fairly common for EVGA in the past to be one of the last releases for BIOS updates.  I for one am taking their statements at face value.  And at this point in time, it doesn't matter at all, as these CPUs are not yet for sale.  Lets all practice some patience and hope the company follows through before all the doom and gloom and assuming the worst.  Do I want an update?  Of course, but even if we get let down, I wont be mad with my 13900KF in this board for many years to come.

My fear is that the upcoming BIOS update 1.16 for 14th gen CPU compatibility will be the last one we ever get. And if it's buggy or not quite right, it will still that way forever.

reality and fanboys don't get along very well  :-|

I really hope to be wrong too, but but all signs point to the worst, and a single out-of-the-way statement from months ago won't change the situation.
Then, however, I believe that maybe a bios with gen14 compatibility will also let it out, with difficulty, but they will, but nothing more.
Just as the rest of the FW support has never been there (does ME tell you anything? and unfortunately I only noticed it after spending over €1K for the Z790Dark), not to mention the SW support (and here obviously all the fanboys they always counter that there is no need for any support, but without realizing that they have already paid handsomely for it in the purchase price).

Last confirmation of the BIOS was 4 weeks ago:

As you, I am also skeptical, but I do have some hope. My expectations are set low. If they do release an update, fabulous, but we will be petting the skin of our teeth wondering if they will ever release another update for future oddities such as ram and video card incompatibilities. If they don't release an update, I won't be surprised, and life goes on to see what will my next motherboard manufacture of preference will be. I'm kinda leaning towards MSI.
