My Ultra is a great chip. 2205/2220 +1500mem in Port Royal. But def. not worth the $200 markup over a Black. 

You should be able to + 1100 to 1300 on mem no prob. Try playing with the power limit. Go up or down by 2 percent trough the full range. Some cards just will not perform at certain configs. Feels like its related to the lhr crap that they put in.

There is no LHR on the 3090 Ti cards.

Has anyone had the chance to test the Black, the Ultra, and the FE? Is it possible the FE somehow has by default better odds when it comes to the “silicon lottery”?

I partially answered my own question. Had the chance to test the FE at least against the FTW3 Ultra and the Strix. The FE runs hotter and louder than both and does not overclock as well (at least based on the sample i have). But it is one beautiful card, looks stunning… I was tempted to keep it just for its look and feel. But can’t justify building another system.

Do you have to use the 3 8 pin connector or can you use the 12 volt that comes with psu
