so all these people having issues. I wonder if you guys are checking the temps? not just gpu but memory too. What temps are you getting? cause if gpu is 80ish your memory is probably maxed out. Also wondering what temps you would get stock vs pad swap/new thermal paste. i know for a fact 3080/3090 in stock format come with **** pads not just evga, i have asus, msi, zotac, gigabyte, FE they all need pads swapped out of the box.
It's absurd to suggest that a $1900 card needs it's pads swapped out of the box.
It's absurd to suggest that consumers should watch their temps like hawks.
People are throwing 3090s in ETH mining rigs with OEM coolers and running them for months with VRAM hitting 110C just fine.
People firing up a game should not fry the GPU without a fundamental design flaw.
