This is a good score. I used the bios he recommended(on air) and I won't be going back. Now that I'm properly cooling the card I pull about 550watts and my boost holds at 2175ghz. The card stays at around 65c during 99% extended load.

Hi, I bought an evga 3090 ti FTW3 BLACK. Can I change the Bios to the XOC ULTRA version? If possible, could someone upload the file? For the .exe of the forum does not work. Tnks!!

Unfortunately I didn't keep the evga xoc vbios. Why not just use the 890w vbios?

I saw no response before.. so I guess I'll try asking again. The title of this thread says "EVGA GeForce 30 Series", but almost all of the comments are for the 3080, 3080 Ti, 3090, or 3090 Ti. The 3070 Ti is still a 30 series so I think asking here in this thread should be okay: Is there any other bios for the 3070 Ti FTW3 that has a higher power limit that I could flash onto my 3070 Ti FTW3? I'm under full-cover water block with a large loop with 5 radiators. I can handle the cooling and my block is great. I'm just looking to get some more performance out of the card I already have.

Feel free to try the asus strix vbios on your card… https://www.techpowerup.c...-rtx3070ti-8192-210428

It should increase your power limit from 325 to 380.

For some reason the XOC 450W VBIOS finally flashed on my RTX 3080 LHR (FTW3 Ultra with Hybrid cooler installed and FTW3 Hybrid VBIOS installed).

But I still can't get the 450W VBIOS meant to be flashed when the BIOS switch is in the normal position. I disabled quick boot of course, and CSM or "Compatibility Mode" was already off and set to UEFI. I really thought after I got the 450W VBIOS for the OC position to flash the one for the regular position would be no problem. But I'm still running the regular 400W FTW3 Hybrid VBIOS in that slot.

I'm happy to at least have the 450W version on the OC setting of the BIOS switch, but that mode also never turns the fan off that's on the shroud and has the more aggressive fan curve.

When I try to flash 450W VBIOS for when the card BIOS switch is in the normal position, I just get the message saying the VBIOS is up to date.

I tried that right after I put my card on the water block but unfortunately that bios does not work on EVGA's 3070 Ti FTW3. I'll explain what I mean: I play games at 1080p. I aim for 144 Hz always because I have a 1080p/144 monitor. Because I play games at 1080p this means that 99% of games I play never trigger the power limit at all for my 3070 Ti FTW3 card on the stock FTW3 bios. It's only RTX games that do that. And when I do play RTX games at 1080p it sits on the power limit constantly even at 1080p. With the Strix XOC bios on my card yes it does have a 380W power limit but for some reason when playing at 1080p it sits there constantly at 380W, triggers power limit, and reduces the clocks on the card. Even in non-RTX games. In every single game I play the power usage for my 3070 Ti FTW3 on the Strix XOC bios just runs right at 380W all the time regardless of what graphics settings I turn the game to. On top of all of that behavior I lose access to the ICX sensors entirely when on the Strix XOC bios which is a big no bueno for me. I see EVGA staff in this thread are providing official EVGA bioses to other users for the EVGA 3080, 3080 Ti, 3090, and 3090 Ti cards. Which I assume would mean those cards with those EVGA bios's would have full functionality including all sensors since it comes from EVGA and is designed for our cards. I was hoping to find some sort of "Official EVGA bios provided by EVGA" for my EVGA 3070 Ti FTW3 with a higher power limit. Not cross-flashing some other vendor's bios onto it.

Also: The bios on this card in OC mode on the switch is supposed to have a power limit of 325 watts but I monitor that power usage with hwinfo64 and I see it triggers power limit and starts reducing clocks at only 295 watts, well below the 325 limit. Which is kind of sad. I like my card but I'm kind of really not fond of it's limitations. :(

hey Sajin, sorry to take it off topic a bit but you may be able to help i have a 3080 ftw3 ultra LHR, i flashed the 450w bios it shows up in gpu-z as 450w and lets me go to 118% on the slider but for some reason it will not pull more than 400w and its hitting power limit, is there a fix for this or do I have one of the unlucky cards that wont allow it :(.

thank you i will have a read through, i have noticed if i use the normal 400w bios the bios version is 94.02.71.40.A9 which shows 400w max in gpu-z, then when i flash the 450w bios the version is exactly the same 94.02.71.40.A9 but it now shows 450w in gpu-z, is this supposed to be like that or is this the issue as to why its not using 450w? could it be that its showing the specs but not actually changing the bios.

No problem. Nope, that isn't it.
