Did you actually see performance benefit (e.g. higher average boost clock) from 500W or just increased power draw?

yes of course all benches run great with 500W VBIOS

If my serial starts with 2114 , I don't have to RMA?

Yes you do but 2114 are PCB rev 1.0...look on the PCIe Slot of the card

Cheers, Sergio!

I sent my v0.1 3090 back last week. Hoping the card chugs through EVGA's system asap. Ideally I'd want it back for this weekend.

This is my third card being sent back, so the new one will be my FOURTH 3090 FTW3 Ultra. That is madness IMHO. Definitely makes me pause for my next card.

How long does it typically take in the USA to get a card back once EVGA's RMA system receives it?

I don't understand ..why do you have to keep sending them back?

First one bought back in Nov 2020. Died after 3 days. Black screen. No fans spinning at all. Just didn't have an output.
Second one received via RMA around early Dec. Died after one week. Fans spinning up and down. No output. Tried in several machines.
Third one received after a huge delay from EVGA over Xmas period. I was without a card for 5 weeks. Received Jan. Card is v0.1 and pulls 85W from the PCIe slot. I have posted screenies in here.

I was offered a v1.0 back in March-ish but I didn't have time to send it back due to working away a lot.

Finally sent the third one back last week after EVGA agreed.

I've been out of the loop for a while. Wasn't there supposed to be an update to fix the card explosion issue/fan bonkers issue that happened with the New World game? Did that update ever materialize or is EVGA still playing dumb over it and trying to silently sweep it under the rug?

Anybody hear of any of these coming through with the 500w bios from the factory?  Thx!

Yes but it's not that true...you need to see some pages back, either way i tell you here. RMA Program, Rev 1.0 Cards on the first position (normal) comes with VBIOS ending in C0.02 PT= 107% limited to 450W, and in second position (oc) comes with VBIOS ending in C0.05 PT=119% limited to 467W to protect too much draw (above 160W) from the PCIe cables (it's our best guess), to get full 500W+ you need to flash VBIOS 94.02.42.80.27

All the Best, Sergio!

This is great, thanks.  Going to need to go back through and read the whole thread.

Does anyone know how the 8-pin connectors align with naming in GPU-Z? For example, if the card is viewed in the typical scenario (installed horizontally in PCIE slot) then moving from left to right are those #1, #2, #3, or reverse?
