What is the latest Bios version for RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA.

In terms of the 500W "fix" - Won't flashing rev 1.0 cards to 94.02.42.80.27 change the subsystem ID? Is this fully revertable if we flash back to 94.02.42.C0.02?

you won't have any issues with that, just be careful if you flash with XC3 VBIOS as it will update your firmware and it's not the same as the FTW3 Ultra Gaming Firmware...

PCIe power is fine, i think 57 Watt. Its rev 1.0 board wo ok

Card is ftw3 ultra

Is the bios selector in the second position?

"Newer EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA cards will be shipping with the XOC BIOS already loaded on the secondary position. The below BIOS should ONLY be installed if your card DID NOT already have it applied."

Anybody hear of any of these coming through with the 500w bios from the factory?  Thx!

Same here,

what's your first 4 serial digits? Mine is 2012 black lips and it clocks to the moon, very good bin.
I dont think I will ask for a replacement since the card pulls 500w (490W) evenly (78W-139W-142W-130W)

2014 on mine.

It hasn't really been put through it's paces yet. I haven't quite finished the new build, so it's in an older machine that doesn't have enough horsepower to make the card break a sweat. The 3090 is light years better than the twin 950's I was running previously tho, so they're semi retired until I finish the new machine.

I'm hoping I won't have any issues with it.

Yes but it's not that true...you need to see some pages back, either way i tell you here. RMA Program, Rev 1.0 Cards on the first position (normal) comes with VBIOS ending in C0.02 PT= 107% limited to 450W, and in second position (oc) comes with VBIOS ending in C0.05 PT=119% limited to 467W to protect too much draw (above 160W) from the PCIe cables (it's our best guess), to get full 500W+ you need to flash VBIOS 94.02.42.80.27

All the Best, Sergio!

2014 cards are for RMA, but you can always try XC3 VBIOS first and see, in my case worked very good but in heavy consumption card will drop from 2100 to 1920 and less because of a problem with the voltaje regulator (at least what we guess). In my opinion there wasn't much I could do, I installed the Hybrid Kit and still dropped and Clocks jumped more than I would like at higher resolutions or heavy load benches.

All the Best, Sergio!

So in short there is some limitation on the C0.05 bios, that 80.27 removes and even though flashing a 1.0 card would change subsystem ID, this doesn't cause any (known) problems?

Also, sorry to be so verbose, but just confirming then that if we flash back to C0.05 bios (on 1.0 board) the subsystem ID will be reverted back to correct value? So this is a non-permanent change? I've heard mixed reports otherwise, so just confirming.

Thanks.

Don't apologize I'm here to help in whatever I can bro...For all this I mentioned you need a GPU with PCB rev 1.0...and no, it won't hurt, just be aware that Real 500W VBIOS will pull a lot from the PSU Cables, I'm using a SilverStone ST1500-TI TIANIUM PSU.

I flashed both ways no problems with nvflash -6 VBIOS.rom many times, also when I had the PCB rev 0.1 I used XC3 VBIOS, I'm one of the firsts along with other guys that been on this thread for a long time and experienced all issues so ask what you want and I'll gladly reply if I know the answer.

All the Best, Sergio!

Did you actually see performance benefit (e.g. higher average boost clock) from 500W or just increased power draw?
