What is the latest serial numbers for the 3090 ftw3 ultra? There isn't one central thread for referncing all the different serial numbers and pcb version... I've been seeing people mention back lip card, rev. 1, etc....

What serial, rev. #, or whatever is EVGA sending out now as "the end all, fix all issues" card?

I have this exact card and I'm kind worried that it will sheet the bed at some point.

as for my understanding rma program is sending rev 1.0 only...read what i posted about my rev 1.0 please

PCB 1.0 were reserved for 3090OC@evga.com program in the past so I imagine that regular RMA will send refurb 0.1 as part of RMA.
I read on the forums that even brand NEW devices from vendors are still 0.1 so I really don't understand why they are selling them unless they have HUGE stock of them already and % of failures are low.

can someone actually confirm a brand NEW device is 1.0 or still 0.1

at this point I would welcome any official statement what was wrong with all those 0.1.

EVGA - What is going on?!
I spent £100 sending my Ultra FTW Hybrid 3090 rev 0.1 card to you with proof of it pulling over 80watts on the PCI-E slot and only 465/470 watt board power in the original box which was like brand new with all the foam inner packaging,

and I've received my old card with no changes still same rev 0.1 and same serial numbers still only pulling 465/470 peaks in tests.

the box has been cut open from the front picture and generally in very poor state cant sell it later on in life like this and most of the nice foam inners gone.

I cant believe this is how you treat cards/customers?

I guess it was only mistake on their part and not on purpose. Probably related to current situation "NEW World tragedy"
Contact their support and they will probably send you advanced RMA with return label as an apology :-)

kind regards
Tomas

3090OC@evga.com RMA Program sends PCB rev 1.0 black lips, I don't know what EVGA is sending if you do a normal RMA. What I do now is that still there's a lot of stock in the market of rev 0.1 red lips.

Cards that are failing with New World Game are red lips PCB rev 0.1 with the problem on the Power Draw and constant swings of Core Clocks no matter what you do, even at heavy load with VBios XC3 card will do the same on some games. ALL this I reported long time ago for ex with first release of Days Gone Game, did exactly what New World does but no one cared...Like this I have many many posts not only here but on other forums. The rev 0.1 card with the problems I mentioned gets locked on FULL LOAD GPU 100% at 1800-1825 Core (OC to 2100) with hot Temperatures no matter if you are on Air at Full Speed or Hybrid Kit. Some reported that on water (custom water block) this doesn't happen, but I didn't get to install a full cover block. With this I mean that you have a 2100 "stable" Core OC and in some games does this which was the main reason I entered the 3090 RMA Program.

How can you tell the revision number?

And has the 3080 gone through a revision?

You have to open the box if it's new and see the PCIe connector, there's the rev number if you want to be 100% sure. But, on the RTX 3090 all first were red lips with the picture in the box, and rev 1.0 are black lips so you can spot it before you open from the picture. Dunno the case on the 3080, I saw some 3080Ti that are black lips.

Good luck, Sergio!

Black lips can also be Rev 0.1  :(

Indeed.  I have a Rev 0.1 card with black lips. The lip coloring doesn't indicate the revision of the card.

Same here,

what's your first 4 serial digits? Mine is 2012 black lips and it clocks to the moon, very good bin.
I dont think I will ask for a replacement since the card pulls 500w (490W) evenly (78W-139W-142W-130W)

G'day all,
On my 3rd card as I had 2 rev 1.0's go belly up on me.  The first RMA was a BNIB 1.0 that died after a couple days, but my 'new' card arrived today.  It's a rev 0.1 and I'm seeing PCIE power of ~80W when testing.  It's hard to find a definitive answer on whether this is acceptable or not (some say it's fine even though it's technically out of spec, while others chicken little it).  Things seem to be running okay.  Is there a consensus?  Anything I should be concerned about?  Using a Maximus XII Hero mobo, if that makes a difference.
