How we know which bios is on the card?
The Bios on my 3090 FTW3 Ultra says 94.2.42.c0.5
So I have no idea if I can put this 3987_500W version

Can anyone help?

Use GPUz it will tell you BIOS version on your cards.
You can use nvflash to force flash a BIOS.

**Update Final Tests**

Well guys, just finished testing the GPU on a miniITX board with a 9600K and PCIe Flex Cable, it does exactly the same thing than on my HEDT 7980XE main rig  :(

**added today 21-JULY-2021**

Card crashes also in Stock Clocks doing some benchmarks in all my 3 rigs :/

Remove the PCIe riser cable (PCIe Flex Cable), a lot of them will crash your card unless you pay for a good shielded one.
Stop using Precision X1 for overclocking use MSI Afterburner.
in my experience PX1 crashes software specifically games, Afterburner doesn't.

Thanks bro, if you saw my posts i tested in 3 different rigs in only 1 i used the PCIe Flex, the others not and I always use MSI AF and PX1 also, nothing changes the card crashes all the time no matter the rig :/

Is that anyone can tell me which Vbios is the latest one for OC and Normal? I'm assuming OC is 94.02.42.80.27, but which normal one is the latest?

Also, I'm having trouble updating the Vbios in an SLI system. Nvflash is the way to go?

Yes is that one if you want to enjoy the 500W that as I demonstrated it's only for Power Balance as my clocks are normal and crashes many times, my red lips rev 0.1 went to +1350 +150 stable for ALL Benches and for Gaming +1250 +100, the only problem was those horrible drops on Core that many times i saw 1865 from 2100 over and over, at least this black lips rev 1.0 stays 50-60 under but they stay there. Read my previous post for all the info you need as i tested all.

For SLI you flash it very easy as nvflash will ask you for each card, if you want me to tell you the exact commands let me know.

All the Best, Sergio!

Thanks for your reply!

One more question, I noticed one of my 3090's VBIOS is 94.02.42.C0.02. After a brief search, this one looks like a fix for power delivery for me. And I did some tests, compared to the other card I have (at 94.02.42.80.27), this did have a more average power delivery(90 90 60 vs 90 120 30). However, this VBIOS shows as an unverified BIOS file on Techpowerup. Which one should I keep?

That VBios is on the OC Position right? Well look what happened to me, mine came at 107% PT, same as the non OC BIOS...So as recommended by the guys here flashed to 94.02.42.80.27 and I get 119% PT, then I tried to re-flash the original and still i see 119% PT, so again i tell you this card is so weird...

If you have a Black Lips rev 1.0 can you send me that VBios so i test it while i stil have the card? You can extract it with GPU-Z here:

Thanks!
