I have no idea what's going on with this bios. My card is stuck in some kind of lower TDP mode now. I've flashed back to the original bios, the original OC bios and both versions of the extreme bios and according to GPUz my card won't pull any more than 93% of the TDP. Pretty much always under 400w with the power slider maxed out in either PX1 or Afterburner.

Before I flashed to the extreme bios, this card was capable of pulling around 460w. How do I revert to at least that if flashing to the original bios listed here doesn't seem to do the trick?

same for me, sadly I didn't test the card before flashing also didn't check how much power it drew before the flash. Flashed the XOC Bios now it doesn't matter what game or benchmark I run, the card pulls a max of close under 400 watts.

Well, I flashed to the kingpin xoc 1000w bios. Finally got the card to pull 500w. At least I know that the card is capable of it now.

I’d rather stay on something that’s ‘sanctioned’ however.

better than xc3? do you see full 500w on power draw in software utilitites? Can you please share some screens and what you did?
Could we use it on a normal ftw3 ultra?

Can anyone summarize for me the status on 1000W BIOS for the FTW3? I'd rather flash a 3-pin BIOS that reports wattage correctly and manage my power limits accordingly.
Thanks in advance!

Here's some info. I can't link to the bios directly, but if you google around, it's easy enough to find. It's a 1000w kingpin bios.

My card is launch FTW3 Ultra. Power seems to report correctly with this bios. Look at the clocks... they're rock solid. Card is pulling 500w at 50% power target. I've tested a little bit higher as well, and it does scale, but I'm on air, so 50% is fine. I am pretty worried about PCIE slot power though, that's almost at 100w and way above spec.

Is that the bios on Techpowerup? NV flash worked for you?

Ah, not sure which one is on techpowerup. I found a link straight from the source, so to speak.

Flashed with the latest version of nvflash on techpowerup without any issues, just had to force it due to a pcie subsystem miss match.

WIN10 Antivirus says "Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.D0!ml"

Can't help you, man.  I've used every single release of this editor.  No problems and no viruses.
Sorry.

11.4v on 8 pin #1?  What PSU is that?  Looks like an upgrade is in order.
That's almost below the ATX tolerance spec.

Loaded the 3090 ftw3 hybrid oc vbios from page one and px1 reads it as "GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA HYBRID".  GPU-Z reads vbios number as 94.02.42.80.03
Can not find any data on it anywhere. Anyone got the info on it?  Thx
