Force 64 but. I’ve seen this issue before and forcing 64bit on launch brought my scores back to where they should. It was weird

I just updated my new RTX 3090 FTW3 HYBRID with the new OC-Bios, but nothing changed :(

I can set the powerlimit now to 119% instead of 107%, but the overall power consumption never exceeded the 450w, while GPU-Z is showing me, that i hit the powerlimit (PerfCap Reason: PwR).

Also the scores in benchmarks (3D Mark FireStrike Ultra) stays the same.

Is there an error with my card or is the Bios (3988_BIOS_OC) corrupted?

Regular and force64, no change. So either software update to 3d mark since October's last run or driver issues. Same BIOS I was on, better clocks, lower temps, 1000 lower score screams software to me at this point.

You either get lucky or get stuck exactly where you are. Most of us rarely get past 105-107%. Some people are speculating the power draw to supply the fans is stealing power from the computing. But it either works or doesn't. Hence the 104 pages of this haha.

I just installed my Hybrid kit, flashed the BIOS to make it a hybrid card, then flashed again to get it to the 3090 XOC Hybrid.

I somehow lost 1000 points in port royal through all of that. Old high was around 13800, now I can't break 12800. What the holy f. Power never passes 410W full draw. 75, 110, 110, 110. Card will NEVER go over 100% power draw. :\

Edit: Going to flip the switch to Normal and see what happens. If anything I will revert the Hybrid bios back to FTW OC and see what happens.

Flipping the switch to Normal somehow is displaying the exact same BIOS version and Device ID. Wut? I never touched the normal BIOS ever. Same Port Royal score of 12800 ish.

Looks like I can't unflash it away from Hybrid and I am stuck like this for now. Tried all of the 3985 BIOS to get OC switch back to how it was and no go. Normal switch is busted I guess and just wants to act the exact same as OC :|

So with NVFlash and magic done, I was able to flash it back to 3985 OC then loaded XOC back on. I still am 1000 less than what I did in October (13919). I am capping at 12900ish using the same settings I had before. So I have no clue what is going on. I am never breaking 50C, average GPU Clock is hitting over 2040 more consistently. Just somehow my scores are 1000 lower.

Difference from 2 months ago and now are PX1 from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 and then the Nvidia drivers. Is there a known issue with drivers causing PR score loss?

What happens if you click reset NVCP settings to default and then try again?

My scored dropped 100 points.

Edit: So going into WoW and CP2077, FPS seems to be the same. ATM just gonna keep assuming its some weird bug with nvidia and 3dmark.

Welcome to the Hell that is the 3090 FTW right now😒 "Officially" they haven't confirmed nor denied a thing! And yes that does hurt, not gonna lie. But I guess I have every ounce of faith they will be the good ole EVGA we all know and love and make this right for us who cannot hit the 500w. Now whether its a software or hardware thing, which I'm inclined to think its a software thing... But eventually... Hopefully. We will get some sort of answer, hell we don't mind waiting even, we just want an "Official" response. This is not fair when we are buying an $1800 Graphics card.

Edit: Just sitting here reading and thinking. And I've seen people say it's cause "they want us to buy the kingpin instead" well that's absolutely ludicrous!! So what then?!?! for 200 measly extra dollars they get a way better card... Thats absolutely Effffed up if even remotely true, cause all of us FTW3 3090 owners could absolutely afford it, if we afforded the FTWs, we could get a Kingpin. But because I want something that will fit in my case with a 240mm Rad, I get screwed? That is straight up NOT okay if so! And honestly... HOW THE HELL HAS THIS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED officially??? Questions like this not being answered are just not okay.

Can someone please help me? I want to pair my 3090 FTW3 hybrid with a 10900k. I need a case that has amazing airflow and can hold 360mm aio for cpu and 360mm aio for gpu (once I upgrade to the Kingpin 3090 hybrid). The only part I have currently for this build is my 3090 ftw3 hybrid gpu. I can’t find a case that will hold 2 360mm AIOs. I also need a guide as what are the best parts to get. All the big youtubers are going with AMD for their builds so it’s hard to find a good example.

Just tried the ln2 Kingpin bios and my power target while running Heaven easily sits above 110% only problem is the fan control doesn't work. XOC bios has my power target jumping between 98%-107% with random spikes above. XOC is garbage.
Is there a way to skip the firmware update with precisionx1?

Is EVGA still working on this BIOS / aware of the issues people are facing in this thread?
