CL600
I just updated my new RTX 3090 FTW3 HYBRID with the new OC-Bios, but nothing changed :(
I can set the powerlimit now to 119% instead of 107%, but the overall power consumption never exceeded the 450w, while GPU-Z is showing me, that i hit the powerlimit (PerfCap Reason: PwR).
Also the scores in benchmarks (3D Mark FireStrike Ultra) stays the same.
Is there an error with my card or is the Bios (3988_BIOS_OC) corrupted?
Welcome to the Hell that is the 3090 FTW right now😒 "Officially" they haven't confirmed nor denied a thing! And yes that does hurt, not gonna lie. But I guess I have every ounce of faith they will be the good ole EVGA we all know and love and make this right for us who cannot hit the 500w. Now whether its a software or hardware thing, which I'm inclined to think its a software thing... But eventually... Hopefully. We will get some sort of answer, hell we don't mind waiting even, we just want an "Official" response. This is not fair when we are buying an $1800 Graphics card.
Edit: Just sitting here reading and thinking. And I've seen people say it's cause "they want us to buy the kingpin instead" well that's absolutely ludicrous!! So what then?!?! for 200 measly extra dollars they get a way better card... Thats absolutely Effffed up if even remotely true, cause all of us FTW3 3090 owners could absolutely afford it, if we afforded the FTWs, we could get a Kingpin. But because I want something that will fit in my case with a 240mm Rad, I get screwed? That is straight up NOT okay if so! And honestly... HOW THE HELL HAS THIS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED officially??? Questions like this not being answered are just not okay.
