So I got my 3090 FTW3 Hybrid installed, gonna do some testing on each individual BIOS before I go the XOC Beta BIOS route.

What sort of clocks are y'all seeing in general for OCs on the regular FTW3 Ultra?  Just looking to get a ballpark of offsets, so I can start a bit on the low side, then see how high she can go.

For the moment, running at stock on the Normal BIOS, this thing definitely runs cooling, idling at 22C regardless of what my ambient is - it's been as high as 72F & as low as 68F since I installed it, and the card idles at 22C regardless, which is insane!

And of course, the kicker & great thing is, I don't have any pump noise issues, it is not audible at all over the other fans and CPU AIO in my system.

Hi again! Slapped the hybrid kit on and the highest I've hit was 52c hammering it with a 4k furmark. I'm super power limited to 450w though even though I flashed to the XOC Hybrid bios.

In cyberpunk at 4k, with a voltage/freq curve I can manage 1980mhz at 49-50c, still super power limited. Hope you fare better!

Yea, it's pretty much due to the PCB design. These cards are incapable of hitting 500W without shunt modding due to design. Anyone hitting 500W does so for a brief blip and then it drops back down. Never stays at or close to 500W.

Do we have a copy of the FTW3 Hybrid original BIOS in case I want to go back to it, or should I back it up first? Gonna go ahead & do so with GPUz, just to be on the safe side.

I uploaded mine to TechPowerup via GPU-Z about 2 weeks ago.

Nothing yet. I only loaded the XOC OC bios and left the "Normal" bios as stock.

That's what I did with my 3080, doing the same with this card.

So far I gave 2040MHz @ 981mV a go and it passed Port Royal at least, saw a nice score out of it (actually ran 2025MHz most of the benchmark, but close enough) and more importantly, load temp was only 52C at the end.

I'll be messing with it more later, right now I think I'm gonna dive in to some games ^_^

I'm hoping someone spends the time to mod the Hybrid cooler to a 360mm rad. IMO the rads should be cool or barely warm to the touch. Unless you have fans at 100% the radiator gets too warm IMO.

they can be if mounting another 2 fans on the 240 for a push-pull. this drops temps up to another 10C depending on your delta ambient

Interesting. I might try that. I have a couple static air pressure fans I can run to the splitter for the other fans.

On my 3090 FTW3 air I was able to run PR and TS benches at +190 core and +250 mem. Sometimes +300 mem.

On my 3090 FTW3 hybrid I'm able to go +135 core and +250 mem.

Port Royal
Hybrid (14,158) :https://www.3dmark.com/pr/636640
Air (13,952):https://www.3dmark.com/pr/616458

Time Spy
Hybrid (21,392 GPU score) :https://www.3dmark.com/spy/16270620
Air (20,806):https://www.3dmark.com/spy/16074644

Max temps I see are 55 C, but averaging 50 C with benchmarks. Was getting 70 - 80 C with air FTW3.

I've been stable with +90 core/250 mem in Cyberpunk @ 4K. Core clock boost to 2055-2070. It'll crash with the +135 core - haven't tried anything in between yet.

I'm pulling 470 watts typically and have hit 480 a few times with TS.

Edit: I've installed the rad with int

Oh weird it came through much later made it look newer than the rest.

For a very easy mod with potential sizeable reduction in GPU temps, replace the thermal paste and reseat the heat sink to make sure it is done correctly. Someone saw a 6deg drop by replacing thermal paste with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut in the FTW3 hybrid

If you do this, please share results.

I replaced the hybrid kit thermal paste with thermal grizzly. 50c at 400+ watts
