Is the third 8 pin meant to draw less than the first 2? 
 
I am seeing around 120w on both 1 & 2 and then around 100 on the third 8 pin... 
 
eg max values when running furmark - 
8-pin #1 - 124.6w 
8-pin #2 - 130.0w
8-pin #3 - 108.9w

I see the same and have read of others with the same problem. Whether it's part of the problem or by design, I don't know. 

Just reinstalled the XOC bios and it is alot more even now.

Is there a new XOC BIOS? Or did you just re-flash the original one? 

And see it is the 1 pin that pulls less power for me... interesting

It seems to be a new one when you go and do the installation it shows you the version you have and the version you are about to install

If you install the XC3 bios you have to manually install the XOC beta bios again through nvflash. Just a heads up for people.

It's not.
It's the same as the originally posted bios. 
 

What sort of gains on clocks & FPS are you guys seeing from going from the stock FTW3 BIOS to the XOC one?
 
I'm seriously considering getting a 3090 FTW3 Hybrid when they're available to queue for again, just wanting to know what sort of delta I can expect between 3090 FE reviews on the 3090 FTW3's XOC performance... then add in some margin for the GPU temps being cooler due to the Hybrid cooler.

None. I've got a very power limited Taiwan board and I've only been able to open it up with thr XC3 VBIOS.
