Soooo  those of us who bought the 3090's get pushed to the back burner?    Wow.  I've been back on Asus after a poor experience and this was my first EVGA buy in many years.

Very disappointed here knowing I spent 1800 dollars and nvidia doesn't seem to care I can't even run my G9 Odyssey at 240hz when 2000 series could,    EVGA doesn't seem to care that the strix is likely going to beat it,  and we get thanked for our money by 3080 users getting their updated bios first.

#evgaloyalty?  lol

Did you even read the thread? Just a few seconds of reading would have answered your question, you spent more time complaining that if you have had read the thread, your answer is literally a few posts above...

No I have a life and don't sit reading responses from strangers on forums :P

I looked on the driver page, checked the forums and searched.   There is no download link for the 3090.   There is NO reason why there shouldn't be.

We literally spent an extra stupid expensive premium that's really not THAT much better than the 3080 for gaming and those extra FPS. (advertised as gaming GPU mind you)

This is bull and while I love the card,  I was truly hoping they'd surprise us with something like some unlocked power that makes the 3090 dwarf the 3080 and inevitable 3080 20gb /ti.

I'm coming from a "last chance nVidia"  standpoint anyways.   If AMD ever doesn't suck,  I'd switch in a second if they pull a TITAN X,  1080ti, TITAN, XP   scheme again.    Worth noting I've been a nvidia fan boy since the MX440 64mb AGP card.    Only had one Radeon and it didn't last long (hd4870)

They said the bios for the 3090 is in testing. So patience and it will come.

Here's the best scores I can manage, these are all with the default BIOS and portable A/C assistance. I think now that my card has bedded in these unicorn runs are a thing of the past because I can't get close to them anymore even with the new BIOS, it simply isn't hitting the same overclocks that I could fresh out of the box. Maxed voltage or not, I simply cannot get a clean run in 3dmark at those clock speeds anymore.

"Use at your own risk" Means they ain't gonna ship this as something that will auto install.  Until they make a final version, there's zero chance they'd make this something that auto installs.  Even then it will likely be optional because they don't want un-educated users frying their cards in cases with zero airflow and a 850W ancient PSU.

If you don’t have “time to read” that’s on you, not Evga. And that “strangers” post was a tweet from Jacob.

Stop cluttering the thread with your useless entitled complains, this is a feedback thread for the 3080 XOC bios, if you have nothing to contribute to it rather than complain, then start a thread for it. You know since were told your 3090 XOC bios is coming soon, bye bye.

Why would there be? The XOC BIOS thread was literally created due to EVGA stating the 3080 FTW3 Ultra would have 420W PL but shipped with 400W. This did not happen with the 3090.

Advertised as an "8K gaming GPU" which any sane person knew was a complete BS marketing tactic.
If you read any reputable review such as GamersNexus of the 3090, you would of known that the 3090 was bad value over the 3080 if you wanted it purely for gaming. It was advertised as an "8K" gaming card because NVIDIA knew it wasn't going to "dwarf" the 3080 in lower resolutions.

It would be far more beneficial if you created a new thread and provided constructive feedback rather than complain about it on the 3080 threads.

I would like to report some odd behavior that has occurred with this BIOs. For some reason, when I boot my PC up, Fan#3 will spin at 100% until my PC starts and Precision X1 tells it to calm down. Anyone else experiencing this?

This bios here, the XOC one.

Edit: okay it's not doing it anymore. It must have remembered a setting from when I benchmarked it with 100% fan speed
