Without the thread we still would have gotten our emails from evga and we still would have gotten our cards at the same time. The thread did nothing to speed up or help in this area.
The thread gave us a crowdsourced sense of progress that EVGA themselves didn't provide, it was a great community effort. I even compiled the data into
spreadsheets for more easy-to-follow graphs.

So after all this time since the queue lock notice in October, people before October have still not been able to get a card?
Yes. Though each SKU has its own queue, some move faster than others.
My spreadsheet(
s) keep track of how much each SKU has moved since it released. Some of the queues completed and are now in stock, but there are some that are still waiting. These categories are more likely to be complete and in stock:
- Anything released more recently, such as:
- 79% (11/14) of Queue 3.0 (2022) cards
- 80% (8/10) of June 2021 cards (not including the 3080 non-Ti Hydro Coppers, which technically released in June 2021 but had premature signups from Nov/13/2020 honored. Both finished their queues.)
- 55% (12/22) of 2020 cards
- Ultra Gaming cards (as opposed to just "Gaming"), particularly 3090s, 3080s and June 2021 cards
The category least likely to be in stock are Gaming SKUs that aren't "Ultra". Only 40% (4/10) of them completed their queues. In fact, they include the only June 2021 cards that haven't yet completed their queues (a 3070 Ti and a 3080 Ti).
Finally, 5 SKUs have somehow jumped straight from "stuck in 2020" to "in stock".
