This is probably stupid, but I don't suppose anyone might know when a person would get their 10G-P5-3883-KR RTX 3080 put in the queue on January 3, 2021?  I won't pay $1000 for a $740 card I believe it is. I'm just looking for a time frame. This month, 3 months, 6+? I'm not gonna wait that long, but is Nvidia going to release a 4000 series btw, because if they are, uh, I'll just wait for that. Already waited 3 months to get a card.

Been in the same boat for 5+ months myself. 3885, 3883, and 3881 have virtually stopped dropping in 2021

Oh no, that's not what I want to hear! Well, I might end up spending $1000 on one. I'll wait until the next stimulus checks arrive. It REALLY pisses me off (as well as most people here who are also waiting) that most of the cards have been bought up by miners. I hope Nvidia does alter current and future cards where it won't benefit them. While Nvidia and AMD are happy because the demand for RTX 2000 series and up are causing the miners to buy these. I read that soon the current way people are making money off them will be antiquated because Etherium is moving to some 2.0 system. I can't remember what they called it. I hope Nvidia also makes cards just for miners too, so the people who actually use the cards for what they were made for can use them.

Just for a point if reference, how long have you guys been in the queue/enabled auto notify? I clicked auto notify for all the 3080s and just want to know how long that queue might be. Anyone get lucky and received their notification to purchase one? Some happy stories would be appreciated…just sold my evga gtx1080 Ti to a miner for $690…. Starting to have regrets haha.

just go watch reviewers that have lots of new cards, till you get one

Prices are going higher for cards. I see ETH at 4000 bucks this year and Bitcoin at 100k.

They stopped sending them for 3080 cards for now? It's been months...its a mistake?

Ive been in queue for 2 months. I really dont want to buy a 3090 for 1000 more than what its worth but at this point it really feels like the knly way Ill get 1 this year.

My son in law has been in que since 9/24/2020, it’s actually for me. I’m not sure about the previous thread but I read that it hasn’t been moving from que dated 9/18/2020. Can someone confirm?

Unfortunately, not a mistake.. They're just moving VERY slowly. We are almost to noon on 9/19/2020 for 3897s.

That depends on which SKU he is in the queue for, but almost certainly I confirm that that is the right date. O_o

Aside from looks and minor clock speeds, there is very minor performance between video card SKUs right? Is everyone trying to get their hands on any 3080 like me or are you folks out for just 2-3 specific SKUs?

I've ordered the 3070 FTW Ultra.  I gave it to my son for his birthday.  I have been waiting for any variant of the 3080 since 9/21.  I was pleasantly surprised to see the 3895 be dropped. Hoping that not many people are in line ahead of me and EVGA would start releasing them.  More likely though, is that it was a "one off" event.
