So, I cancelled my notifications and re-signed up (wasn't aware of the queue system at the time) AFTER changing my email address. Do I still have my original place in the queue under these circumstances or did I screw myself over? lol
 
I doubt anyone here knows for sure but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask before emailing evga.

If you cancelled your auto-notify registrations, I think they are gone....  That said, you can call EVGA customer care, but I think they are unlikely to reinstate your registrations.  But, hope springs eternal....

My parents are out of town and the battery on their thermostat died causing pipes and things to freeze here in MN. So I can understand some of the pain experienced by folks in TX.

On a side note, EVGA support came through and order placed. Should have my 3070 here soon.



Congratulations on your new 3070!  Thanks for reporting back to the thread.  Very sorry to learn about the frozen pipes; I am not familiar with that headache, but it sounds tremendously frustrating.  I hope they can get it sorted quickly.

Thanks!! I do love the system that EVGA implemented for ordering 30 series cards. Makes it a LOT easy and almost 100% stress free compared to others. Thankfully I had signed up before a price increase was announced, so that worked out great as well.

In Texas, it's so cold in people's apartments and houses that the water in their toilets have been freezing.
Can you imagine having to sit on that in the morning?

Appreciate the sympathy! I left Idaho expecting TX to be warm, but now, it feels a lot like Idaho, except folk here aren't really used to this kind of weather, or prepared for it. The infrastructure isn't either. I've been lucky enough to have heat, but we burst pipes earlier today, so we've been without water, and likely won't have any water until tomorrow. Looks like the internet is at least still working!!

Mars ended up having the most enjoyable viewing experience today. I hope y'all got a chance to see the landing. Human ingenuity at its finest and most pure. Hopefully our future generations will surpass even our wildest expectations.  
 
In other news, I received reports of drops for three queues today, including the first reports for the 3753...so we got that going for us...which is nice. (Apologies to Caddyshack.)

We have made some changes to the checkout process for EVGA.com 30 Series orders. Now we are using a queue based notification system.
 
To sign up, use the notification button on the product you would like to be notified for. For everyone who already used the notify button previously, you are already entered. Once product is available (and it is your turn to purchase), you will receive a secure email that will allow you to purchase the product that you received a notification for. Please note that you have 8 hours to place your order, if your order is not complete within 8 hours, the product will be released back into queue system.
