So the card I signed up for: 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming 10G-P5-3897-KR
has moved ~2 days in 4 and a half months?
 
So that's averaging (rounding up) about 2 months per day?
 
Now my signup date was Nov 21 (I tried for lots of other cards before deciding I'd just register it and wait it out)
 
Meaning I have 63 days of queue left to wait, and at 2 months per day my calculation is 10.5 Years!
 
Guess I won't have to be too diligent in checking my email...

Sure, but that's all past tense now. The 3897 queue moved slowly through 9/17 and 9/18 because there was a MASSIVE bottleneck. 9/19 still has some time stamps to work through, but it's nowhere near what it was on 9/18. Once the queue gets past 9/19 I bet it will really start moving, at least until it gets to early October where there might be another bottleneck, albeit a smaller one than what we saw on the first couple of days of launch.

And this is how I am not going to sleep in the next few months ... surely I am going to spend the whole night checking the email to verify that the link does not reach me and I miss my turn.
I have been in the queue since September 19 for 3883 and according to this they go on September 16.

They don’t send out the emails at night, it’s during their business hours and typically around like 10PST. Even if you do miss it, don’t fret! There are multiple people on here who missed the email and were able to contact EVGA customer service and still get one ordered. That kind of service is pretty much why all of us are waiting here in the queue. Lol. So do not fret, my friend! Sleep peacefully and check obsessively only during the day like the rest of us ;)
