Just dropped mine off at FedEx, was $57 for ground.

Out of curiosity, how much of that total cost was insurance? And did you also add signature required?

Thanks!

I know you didn't ask me but...  The card I'm shipping back was on sale for $799.99.  So I insured it for $800 and that cost an extra $11.99 where I shipped.

Looks like there was a pretty solid step-up drop yesterday? The list moved up like 30-40 minutes.

Looks like we moved by 9.. so if we move 9 each week.. I bet I get my card by Feb.. not bad.. originally was April

I've been thinking about this.

The people who were getting in within the first hour are also probably more likely to be the type of people to track progress in a forum thread.

So they should be more highly represented in the list.

People who got in on the next day, or two or 3 days later probably don't care as much, so they are less likely to be on a forum thread tracking.

I wonder what the reality is, though. Were the bulk of the people getting in the queue in the first day? Or was it fairly steady over the next few days as people realized they weren't going to find a card, so they went and bought a 2070 super so they could join the step up queue? I know there is definitely a spike right at the beginning, but am curious how the curve looks past that.

I bet after the first few days it slowed down a lot.
Probably had basically two types of people:
- Those who already knew step up would be the best/only way to get a card and did it as soon as it was available.
- Those who aftert the first ~week accepted defeat and bought a card purely for step up.

It will probably move pretty darn fast after they're through the first few days I would think as after that it was probably a much slower, steady trickle of people doing it.

Not to mention, for the last 2 weeks or so, EVGA 2000 cards are VERY hard to come by from authorized sellers. So its not like there is/was even thst many cards out there to buy in the first place to even start the step up process.

TLDR: I believe it will slowly ramp up and move faster and faster over the coming weeks.

I'm glad to see some movement. My Step 1 email didn't come until 10:20 AM on Day 1 so I'm hoping to get to step 2 in about 2 weeks or so.  That said, no complaints about my 2070 Super, which I currently have frame rate locked at 60 fps so that I can play Pinball Arcade.  Can't wait to check out Cyber Punk 2077.

Just personal reasons, not being able to afford the $265 upgrade from my 2070 Super at the moment. Moving into a house with a friend so I definitely can't be spending that amount at the moment, I'll resubmit for a position in 2 weeks or so, so it gives me time to save up and for stock to open up. Not to mention I'd need a new PSU as well, just not worth it for me right now. I'd also be using a 1080p monitor, so yeah again, no point right now.

Haha, I feel ya man. I had a buddy tell me to let him know what I think of it when I get mine (shipped mine this week from Korea so using a 970 for a few weeks). Coming from a 2080 Super on a 1080p monitor ... I told him I already knew what I think... I won't see a dang difference! haha. but for $65 I'm set for a while and in the market now for a respectable 1440p monitor. Too many options, I wish there were only like 5 to pick from.

Anyone have great options please send them my way, I want a 32in at 144+hz, gsync preferred.

Check this thread. I've been reading up there to see what I might want to upgrade to.  I currently have a 1080P monitor and really need to upgrade.
