The HOF has that record, but they only two year warranties which sucks. What is the average OC clocks on kingpin? Question for everyone who owns one? Have the opportunity to buy one.

When did you last check the Port Royal HOF?

biso biso holds the record for both 1x and 2x with EVGA Kingpin cards

I love my Kingpin! The memory is just beastly! What an amazing gpu for only $2,089 bucks.

Right out of the box it runs 2,025Mhz and I have bumped the memory to +1650 so far. I am just amazed how fast, and how well it overclocks!

It is essentially the fastest 3090 available. (Right out of the gate) no need to really OC in games. But its a fun and very fast GPU!

If it’s msrp or not far away then buy it!!  Best value 3090 available (I bought my 3090KP Hybrid at MSRP) (And the KP Hydro copper kit at MSRP) Anyways, Right out of the box, it’s going to mop the other cards. Just a super fast gaming GPU with no OC needed and it’ll be 100% reliable. And it will run under 50C all the time, no matter the load (That’s under 50C on the default LN2 bios) (It can manage even better if you enabled the standard bios)

I have been playing with overclocking while gaming just a little. And my card will hold 2,160Mhz-2175Mhz with just the hybrid AIO cooler. (I have no door on my case) No need to do this of course we’re talking about something you can’t even feel at all. And it’s plenty fast bone stock at its 2,025Mhz for gaming. Your not going to get a solid answer here. Because it depends on the load of the application, how hot the card is, and how good the card may be. There are people running 2,390Mhz+ daily. They have water chillers of course lol. So how far the card will go is 100% dependent on how good your cooling is.

I have just installed the Kingpin Hydro copper kit, and I have yet to play with any overclocking since mounting it last night. But the memory, and VRM’s are already running about 40-50% cooler. These components are not watercooled directly with the stock KP 360MM AIO hybrid setup. (Only the die is watercooled)

Anyways, I say go for it! These are excellent cards! Any model 3090 will run that 2.070Ghz to 2.1Ghz on watercooling with enough power... So don’t listen to these people saying their Kingpin card can’t even do 2,000-2,055 lol. That’s just silly.

The 3090KP isn’t going to make up for bad overclocking skill. But no matter how you slice it, it’s the fastest 3090 out of the box running (stock) and considering it’s already watercooled. It’s an amazing value.

Last check? Obviously not in a while, lol.

It is part of a build, cannot buy it separately. Need a new rig anyway, so I am considering it. I usually go full water cooling anyway, the the AIO on it seems more than adequate.

The AIO cools the GPU pretty well! mine was hanging out of my case because I couldn’t fit it in my tower, due to already having (3) 360’s mounted inside my chassis. But, when I had mine installed the GPU was 99.9% SUB 50C all the time, and I only ran the default LN2 bios.

These cards are absolutely binned mine had 1995 handwritten in pencil on the silver die frame, and when I open a game my card runs 1995Mhz by default and clocks up automatically to 2,025Mhz (No overclocking). From what Vince told another member directly, EVGA essentially will test (10) GA102’s and pick the best (1) out of those (10). I am guessing that 1,995Mhz has to be the very minimum for that given voltage applied to pass a certain application. There are also some other hand written lines and marks around the GPU for the indication of something.. I have no idea.

Anyways, the AIO is absolutely fine to stay on. The memory gets really warm. But it’s still good enough to hit 1600+ (While gaming even) that is a 17% bandwidth improvement. I have been testing +1700 on the memory, and now that my temps are super low from the KP HC block, there may be even more left to squeeze out.

These cards make overclocking easy. For the first time I am going to push the card tonight using alternate bios/tools/and KP full block, I will probably go ahead and ask for the KP XOC RBar bios from Vince, and download the classified tool.

They are fast, and easily worth the $2,089!

I just received my card from RMA and have to say the gpu is better on the core but worse on the memory. My old card had issues to hit 2145mhz on the core constantly with the 520w bios but was stable with +1500 on the memory. The new card can easily hit 2190mhz but gets unstable at +750 on the memory.
I will start pushing the card once I receive the HC Kit.

Try the 520 watt LN2 bios, then retry the memory OC again. I believe it sends different voltages or possibly has different timings maybe VS. the OC or standard bios.

Because my normal +1700Mhz on the memory is stable on the 520 LN2 bios in games. But not the normal bios. (It went down after 2 hours of gaming)

Or you could try increasing voltages with dip switches.

But, temperature is everything here. So everyone’s clocks will be different.

I'm on the LN2 BIOS (that came with the card) already.
Mem is unstable above +750, so I won't touch it for a while.
Using the the full tdp of the 520w bios I was able to score 15288 in PR which is ok for the Hybrid version I guess:

is there anywhere to see what voltage each dip switch gives?

Well, I actually haven’t even used them yet. I just got my Kingpin Hydro Copper block installed very early yesterday morning. So I am going to start with Classified tool, dip switches, and XOC Vince bios very very soon.
