That's true with an unlocked bios, but even then increasing is going to raise temperatures rapidly and cause it to not boost as high anyways. I don't know, personally I just don't think it's worth it this time around unless you don't mind the wait or will be messing with LN2.

In any case, I look forward to seeing what it can do

You shouldn't ever buy a K|NGP|N for its stock performance, they're meant for extreme OCing. Interested to see how the DDR6X OCs and what Vince can get out of it.

Is there a difference in the chipset or just coolers?

I believe the chips are binned for higher clocks and it has a more robust power delivery. They are for people that want to push the card to the limit with exotic cooling which is why for the life of me, I can't figure out why EVGA would make it a 360mm Hybrid.

Would be cool if there was medium/low end cards for overclocking like Galax 1060HOF oc lab gpu.

Personally, I'm not too worried about the temps. A 360mm rad can dissipate between 300W and 600W, depending on your tolerance to noise, and that's not even including the PCIe air-cooler which is probably good for another 125W or so.

I'm guessing the hybrid solution can managing 450W to 500W with little effort, which puts it right near the limit of 3x8-pin power connectors and the PCIe interface (of 525W).
