Oh very nice!  Had no idea they were doing both.  Last gen they sold the waterblock separate.

Thanks for the heads up!

Hey guys just a quick question,

I am starting my build with the 3090 KP Hybrid. The installation guide provides a diagram showing that it should be mounted with the radiator over the gpu card. So to speak, the radiator should be on top of chassis.
As I need the upper side of the chassis to put the CPU radiator (custom WC), I am wondering if despite the installation guide it is OK to put the KP radiator under the GPU. I tried to find information about this but could not find anything related.
Thanks in advance.

Best,
Nikos / Miguel

Miguel you can put the gpu radiator in front of the case as well. Top of the case is the best but I have the cpu radiator there.

As long the tubes of the kingping are down and the top of the radiator is above the gpu.

This is the way I have it. There is a long video in youtube where all this is explained. It's ok front mount.

Thanks menko2,

the problem is that my new chassis only allows a radiator on top or bottom. Front side is a glass panel so there is no way to hold the radiator there.
I think I have seen the video you are talking about from GamerNexus. That is why I came here to know if even if the best solution is to place it on top, putting it down the bottom will do for a while at least until a custom waterblock / HC version is released.

Yes that's the video from gamernexus.

It's so strange that we get the card in Spain from a retailer before many people in u.s.
Normally we are the last.

Once you install evga precision overclock utility will update the firmware of the card. it looks it breaks some users led screen in the card but I installed anyways.

It's going to take me a while until I turn on the PC with everything setup so I hope by the time I am ready to do so a newer version of it fix that issue xD.
About Spain getting the card sooner than the US market I do not get it too...

That's correct.  You want an AIO installed at least have the air trapped above the GPU even if the radiator is leveled with the GPU with the tubing at coming and going at the bottom half of the rad.

If it's a custom liquid cooled PC, having a rad at the bottom or anywhere really won't matter as much as you'll have a reservoir somewhere in your loop trapping all the air.

What size are the tubes and fittings on the aio, planning to modify it for moar cooling.

IIRC, they stated that the length of the tubing would be 400mm.

Now I'm not sure if modifying a AIO would be a good idea but that is up to you and know that you will void the warranty if any modifications are done from it's original state out of the box.

Anyone else experiences hotter GPU temps after turning off auto fan speeds?  I'll see a 6-degree c difference by going from auto to 100% in precision.
