Nice. Cannot deny the name, or the legacy.

So was this card designed by Vince all by himself, or did he get some help?

@Sajin
He had TiN for a bit?  But I think you might be fishing for props for the teams of people at EVGA that contribute to manifestation of these products?

If that's the case... Sure props to the EE's, thermal engineers, ect @ EVGA.

That is of course if the product lives up to its name...

I don't think it was ever just Kingpin and Tin that were only in charge.  I'm sure the EVGA team of engineers were involved as well.

I am concerned about the "backend" unofficial support for the 3090 KPE.  TiN had his dedicated page with links.  Will something be replicated by EVGA/partner?  I'm probably getting a FTW3 or Hybrid initially.  I assume the KPE cards will be delayed until there's adequate "binned" chips for consistent minimum boost clock and >500w with EOC bios support.  We don't know yields and other factors so everything is just speculation.  I try to stick with EVGA because of their support.  A sanity break from human malware and politics.

I completely forgot about the 980. Thank you for the clarification. I thought I was missing one.

From what I remember the kingpin line is always released a bit later because even if they are working on it right now it takes more testing to earn the Kingpin label. Hopefully though it's not that much later.

I wont be surprised if its power will haul above 1300W at unlock mode.

Ha! You are dreaming.
