I was wondering how that would turn out. I see several ASUS cards up at the top of the PR HOF. I actually have a 3090 Strix still in the box that a friend is taking as I really wanted the KPE. I did get a notify in but I am at the end of the list. I guess he is going to have to wait for me to decide. I need to see how the Strix is doing on air and water. 

Im still not sure what PSU will be strong enough to handle the KPE if doing moderate OC, or even running a  base OC on it under water. If i am not going for an extreme OC or competing, does it make sense to wait for the KPE or do i just on the 3090 Hybrid?

Guess it depends on your CPU and you if you plan to OC that. What your custom loop will look like...  According to their Min PSU req on the KPE page, it's 750W. I have an 850w and I will see how that goes. 

i dont have a custom loop, i have a corsair H150i capellix, 360mm AIO, so was gonna dual 360mm AIO in my Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL. And probably 5.1ghz OC on 10900k

Waterblock version ain't coming till later on.  It was just the HYBRID version that was released.

How are we supposed to actually buy a Kingpin card? Is EVGA only going to do a limited run of these? 

They currently are selling to Elite Members only first.  Not long after they will be sold to every non-elite member.

How long after? I want this so bad!
