Just get the ek universal block and do the mod with the extra cold plate and buy the ln2 OLED kit and call it a day.

Your warranty will still be intact! Evga dont care how ya cool it as long as you dont physically damage it.

Can you elaborate? is there a link to full instructions on this mod?

He's talking about this mod here that I am the original maker of

Sparetimepc do you sell the copper cutout portion as I am not "handy" enough or do I have the confidence in myself to do that part? Also where did you get the G92 bracket for this? Is this something a novice like myself could accomplish or is this a pretty high level mod?

Its a pretty easy mod to do, i  have a thermosphere block, G92 bracket and 1 of the shims as a kit on the evga marketplace right now. Only need the optional EVGA LN2 Kit to go with it for the whole mod.

The example was meant to explain the expectations of a luxury car ownership experience as opposed to a commuter car ownership experience. I appreciate the fact that your company has this forum and that their employees engage with their customers which is a great thing. I was just trying to pass a little advice your way that’s all. Spending 2k on a card I would expect to be able to water cool it as performance is very important to me but so are looks. If there is a better option that also ties into my water loop and looks great I’m all in otherwise I’d like to retain the LCD display and the EVGA warranty hence wanting to purchase the Hydro Copper. If someone has a better alternative that fits in my loop and looks as good as the hydro copper I’m all ears.

Could not agree more. I understand the aesthetics, I really do but the fact is the manufacturing of the blocks vs demand kind of put us in a certain space where we either make everyone happy or make everyone upset. It's really a lose-lose because the blocks are super cool looking but again, it just goes back to the fact not everyone will buy them so a decision had to be made.

True.. a company isint going to loose money making a product. They are not going to make 100 blocks for a 100 cards when they know not everyone will buy it. Business stays in business making a profit. That's the way it is.

No other company will take up the slack making a block for a card when they dont have an idea how many people will buy it.. unless its china where they can make stuff super cheap cause of super low overhead costs.

I was well aware of this fact from the last 1080ti model and made sure to snag a block asap.

So if you know your going to buy a kingpin in the future and atm you cant afford the card and your going to buy it later on.. safe bet to buy the block asap if your going to need it.

If you end up not buying a kingpin.. no problem making a profit off selling off the block.

Sparetimepc I am very interested but when I clicked your link in the marketplace it took me to the EVGA landing page. Another limitation of my new status I'm sure. I'm very interested please PM me the details and price. Did you see better temps with this setup as opposed to the factory AIO and if so by how much?

On one of your youtube videos I saw one of your employee's mention you subbed out the manufacturing for the Kingpin block which is why I know you would have to produce a certain number for it to be worth the manufacturers while. While I believe there is enough demand for another run that's beside the point, but I do think this would be a good argument for bringing your manufacturing in house.

I contact this company https://optimuspc.com/ by email and recommend them to consider making KP water blocks cause no one is making it
Let See !

Thanks for this link. I heard a tale about an American company that build AM4 blocks topping the charts in performance. Even heard EK was afraid...  Now I know who they are.

Yea hopefully Optimus makes a block for this! Their cpu blocks are pretty nice. No real test though.

I have the cpu block, it dropped my CPU temps about 5C, its not like others though where you can put them on any direction, these must be put on with the optimus stamp either on the top or bottom, can't turn them 90 degrees for hose port convenience.
