Well Selling them wasn't my solution so instead I gave mine their final resting place here, in my coffee table:

here the Decoration added on it:

And a side shot of the Decoration :)

At least I can see them everyday and this way I honor them, the EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Red Editions were by far the best GeForce cards I ever used and owned.

To maintain them needs some efforts, but when you master your skills by maintaining them, you're all set good to go

I plan to make more pics, but I will have to tidy up a bit for that xDDDDD

Hmm interesting, wasn't aware of this card before. Looks a lot nicer than my Mars :p

Thanks :) well the MARS has nicer specs, especially it's VRAM amount is it's savior for a longer lifespan, I have placed mine in my VGA table and replaced them with two EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Super Clocked Signature Edition 2GB's just due to the DX11.1 support and the 2GB VRAM size per GPU

if my GTX 295 RE's had 2GB 512Bit GDDR3 per GPU, I would of probably still used them, since their four GPU's in Quad SLI makes them faster than a single GTX 680 SC SE, it's just they lack the VRAM, a VGA card needs these days.

For Descent they rock same for Minecraft but for games like Just Cause2, Metro 2033, upcoming Metro Last Light, Crysis 3, and Half Life3 if that ever comes, I just need a much more optimized GPU and a much more powerful one as the GPU core goes :) the GK104-400-A2 aka GTX 680 GPGPU is the answer to take on this problem, two of them that is, 3072 Kepler CUDA Cores is my solution to it all

But as these EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Red Editions go, only 500 of these beauties were made and to sell them was just not worth it, they are my favourite and to me the most beautiful GeForce cards I have ever bought, now I can look at them and keep that awesome memory they gave me.

The odd thing is that there are not many people here that still have a GTX 295 Red Edition or even two, I really wonder what happened to these things. since 500 cards isn't much which only makes room for 250 Quad SLI pairs heh, I am happy to have a pair from that very small amount.

Looks like ebay has one
Auction ended $97 dollars free shipping, I  thought it was a nice deal on that card

Gold Leader, I recently purchased a custom-built gaming desktop for $200. Inside is an Asus P5G41T Motherboard, EVGA GTX 295 Red Edition graphics card, quad-core processor@ 2.50 gHz, as well as a Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM HDD. When I learned of the rarity of my graphics card, I decided to make an EVGA account and post on here about it. I would like to join this club.

Wow, nice steal on that. That card alone has been selling on forums for $150+.

What CPU did you get?

@Xaeik what is the model of the core 2 quad Q6600?

I think elitegeek was asking, as the amount you paid for the rig with the red edition, was awesome, and if the CPU was a q9550 or simiular then you hit the lottery on that buy. : )

Oh, I see. It is a Q9300.
