Some other VGA collector from a 3dfx forum told me this, as he has contacts within NVIDIA & EVGA, but alas, I have to keep his name private

GL you think you could get anyone at EVGA to answer the question of how many there are?
 
I have my 295+'s, still kicking on HK waterblocks. Just getting them set up on the X58A-OC to do some benching. Always wanted some reds but I got one through Bstock for $3 and one from stepup.

Yeah good point I'd love to ask them that but I dunno who I should ask, I thought about good ole JacobF hehe He might have an idea, since he's the product manager right? To be very honest I have no idea
